While they look great, not all features work in CP. Second hands do not appear at all. It was really fun and easy to customize it (so much so that my son created other versions when I want a different look). My favorite feature is being able to click on the moon and get exact information for my location on the moon phase as well as when the moon -- as well as sun -- rises and sets each day. I also hearing my clock chime on the hour. It is much better than the simple digital clock in the upper corner. I love how you can customize the hands, clock face, and background. The moon feature is brilliant and you can see the phase of moon at your location. But then, think about it...the out of the box one is lousy and there’s still nothing quite as representative as an analog clock face. And in fact the amount of stuff that can be included in an analog interface is something we tend to forget. The developers of this app are onto something. I’ve been pleased at every turn.There’s a Lot of useless stuff on my phone that I have downloaded over the years, happily this is definitely not in that category. ### 5/5 — Love the presets and the moon phase! *2020-08-21, version 1.0.0* I like opening the app and seeing the analog clock in a gorgeous background. A little piece of Zen. I have never kept track of the moon phases before and this makes me appreciate time in a new way. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Lazy-bones app; fly-by-night developer *2026-03-19, version 1.0.18* This is not the app they imply it is. The pre-sales promotion shows plenty of options, but when one sets one option, several other options go away. My advice: Don’t waste your cash; look elsewhere. This is a “lazy-bones” app, meaning the app feels like the developer doesn’t care about quality—they did the absolutely minimum to get one’s $4. The majority of options are “mutually exclusive,” meaning if one chooses one option, it automatically excludes several other options. To me, this app is not worth the $4. Moreover, I consider this a “fly-by-night” app, where the company takes your money and runs: all they care about is your cash. The developer does not give a flying-F about quality. ### 1/5 — Needs work *2024-09-04, version 1.0.38* I downloaded this for my Mac laptop and it’s beautiful, sadly it charged me again when I opened it on my iPad and it should have not. Also on an iPad, it is not very appealing and you have this frame around the widget only in colors and not free flowing like on a Mac, clock itself without a square background.
