I can enter my name and a name for the AI, but I cannot feed the AI any information or instruction for conversational behavior. I informed the developer on the day of purchase and I am still waiting for an update. For now, it’s unusable. Buyer beware if you are using an iPhone. 

If I do try to converse with it, it often tells me not to repeat myself, even though I haven’t. It tells me that it can give me information on a variety of topics, but cannot tell me what. When I ask a question, it tells me that it is not sure how to answer the question or that it is beyond its knowledge.

Thanks for your review. We have not received a report regarding this, and no users have reported any issues with inputting past conversations. Our app has been tested on several iPhone models and iPad. This may be a specific issue for an older model you are using or a smaller screen size and should be fixed if you adjust accessibility settings on your device. This tool does not easily provide you with the opportunity to upload previous text messages, so it’s impossible for the AI to learn personality or tone. Hence, it cannot predict a response that aligns  with the scenario you’re trying to create or prepare for. This entire app is a waste of time. You’d be better off with ChatGPT.

We’re sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the quality of our app. We understand that the interface may have been difficult to use, and we will roll out a fix (such as a plugin in your messages app or screenshots) in the next update. It is important to note that Clonio AI works better than ChatGPT or other LLMs for our purpose, because unlike LLMs, we analyze metrics such as average conversational mood and punctuation to deliver a more accurate experience. I spoke with the developer, and he’s going to be integrating a feature to upload text messages in an upcoming  release.  I can’t wait!
