### 2/5 — Needs Face ID

*2026-06-23, version 1.1.7*

When selecting a provider to make an appointment you scroll through dozens of folks - if you click for more info on a provider you can’t click back to your place. You’re taken to the top of the list. Also why is there no Face ID option? The only thing worse than this app is the service itself which deteriorate with each passing year.

### 2/5 — Not ready for prime time

*2026-04-03, version 1.1.6*

My past medical records do not appear in the app. When I open the app, I get a message saying that they cannot verify my insurance and to call the number on the screen. I call the number, they say the insurance is accepted, then put me on hold for 25 minutes before sending me to voicemail. The missing records and insurance issues are not resolved even after multiple calls. Do people actually pay to have this service as the portal to their practice? What a mistake.

### 1/5 — Horrible Service

*2025-11-06, version 1.1.4*

Providers do not show for appointments or for Urgent Care. Useless service if no one shows up.

### 1/5 — You are seen quickly but you end up in technical nightmare

*2025-08-25, version 1.1.1*

I was able to see an urgent care provider within 3 minutes. The provider went over my symptoms and background with me before providing writing a prescription. The prescription was an everyday simple medication not a controlled substance, but it never reached the pharmacy. The provider notes showed the medication with the correct prescription and pharmacy but 48 hours past it never arrived. Tech support and customer service is East Coast and closed on the weekends so forget about calling you’ll get a recording. The chat service just allows you to send a message to switch you receive a response… we are checking 5 hours later you reply to the message and they are still checking but will escalate the issue. I have used several online teleheath services and received my prescription in a matter of hours. Sadly this service is recommend by my insurance provider. Good luck to you if you try it.

### 1/5 — App is not functional

*2025-05-20, version 1.0.8*

App is buggy and barely functional, can’t even sign in. The estimated price is also a lie, expect a bill many months after your visit no matter what the estimated price is.

### 1/5 — Horrible!

*2025-03-03, version 1.0.6*

If I could give negative stars I would. The app crashes constantly. You definitely can’t get help. It’s a benefit we pay for through our health insurance plan that’s a tremendous waste of money because you’re never able to use it.

### 1/5 — Useless for anything

*2025-02-20, version 1.0.5*

The functionality is poor, you have to login multiple times just to even send an email. Trying to actually get access to any form of healthcare is worse than normal.

### 2/5 — Still waiting on work note

*2025-02-03, version 1.0.5*

The care itself and app itself I had no problem with. But it’s been 3 days since my visit and I have yet to receive my doctors note for work. I reached out on the 2nd day and haven’t heard anything back either. Will not be using this app again.

### 1/5 — Attempted 3 sign ins.

*2025-01-31, version 1.0.5*

This is what AI looks like.Humans not available . Am not having success signing in. Then the appointment is not correct. Again no human available Then appointment all done after they said I failed to make it. Would recommend going elsewhere.9

### 1/5 — Ineffective

*2025-01-29, version 1.0.5*

I attempted to access the urgent care feature numerous times only to be met with an error message. When I called technical support, after being on hold for several minutes, I received a message suggesting I leave my information in a voicemail and that someone would respond to me by tomorrow. I feel like that defeats the purpose of urgent care.

### 1/5 — Absolute Garbage Telehealth App

*2025-01-13, version 1.0.5*

From hours long waits, to horrible customer care and repeated failures without any attempt at correction, this is by far the worst telehealth app I’ve ever used. If you are able to use another telehealth app, save yourself hours upon hours of aggravation and frustration. The customer service team could not be less apologetic dealing with these issues. When you’re actually able to see a provider, they are competent and provide good care but the hoops you have to jump through just to see a telehealth provider completely negates the good care they provide. If I could give this app zero stars, I would.

### 1/5 — Do not use

*2024-12-31, version 1.0.5*

They send you texts/calls to confirm your appointment an obnoxious amount of times before your scheduled appointment and then….Doctors do not show up to appointments.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2024-11-18, version 1.0.4*

This app doesn’t work. No one responds. There is no information about previous visits or Doctors orders.

### 1/5 — The new app is absolutely useless.

*2024-11-07, version 1.0.4*

Not sure why they “upgraded” to an app that is absolutely useless.

Used closeKinit over a year absolutely loved my provider. I ended up in the ER and the new app came out. They are still my PCP. But when I scheduled none of my messages seems to go to someone in the week I had to wait for an appointment to get medications to help with some side affects of the meds I was on.

When you schedule you can’t see the time in the new app. You can’t see the appointment at all they sent me in an email link.

Then the PCP sent me to a specialist, because I have a borderline emergency situation, and they didn’t write a proper referral. And when I messaged, it no longer goes to your provider. And I was told to “figure that out with your insurance.”

Seriously? So I am probably gonna have to switch PCP’s yet again, during a health crisis, because their app is useless and there is no way to contact a provider or a person who knows the absolute basics of healthcare?

So friggin annoying.

### 1/5 — Notifications

*2024-11-04, version 1.0.4*

I just downloaded this updated app. You cannot turn on notifications as the app doesn’t even show up under installed apps under your iPhones setting <notifications <CloseKnit app should appear on the list but it’s MIA!!! I have missed messages and appointments because there is absolutely no sound/vibration/alert message nothing to activate to remind you or alert you like every other app has to pick how you’re notified! PLEASE FIX THIS. Yes I have tried to delete and reinstall.. does nothing!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Awful, just awful

*2026-07-08, version 1.1.9*

The worst app in the history of apps. Impossible to navigate. As inconvenient as you could possibly make it.

### 1/5 — Possibly the new worst app I’ve ever encountered.

*2026-06-30, version 1.1.8*

It apparently erased all of my medical history in the data transfer my doctor office attempted.

It also wouldn’t save my attempts at adding it all back in.

And it seems like it finally delivered the doctor’s response to a message I sent about 3 weeks ago but I’m not sure as it won’t allow me to login or even provide me with the normal troubleshooting process steps like forgot username and or password.

It just repeatedly attempts the facial scan I authorized and resets to the home page even though there’s been no drastic changes in my appearance over the last few weeks since I used it last maybe 3-4 weeks ago.

### 1/5 — Update failed

*2026-06-25, version 1.1.8*

The app forced an update today and now is non- functional. Cannot log in.

### 1/5 — June 24 update

*2026-06-24, version 1.1.8*

The update does not allow me to sign in. Thanks

### 1/5 — Poor app infrastructure- not user friendly

*2026-06-21, version 1.1.7*

There should be a method to stay logged in instead of logging in process every time. There is always a glitch and I am told it’s getting resolve. My insurance is approved but the app can never verify it. Very hard to book and not user friendly

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2026-06-20, version 1.1.7*

This company bought out where my pcp works. I love my pcp. I hate Close Knit. The app is awful. Nothing works as it should. I have called multiple times to get things fixed (like my insurance verified) and still issues are not resolved and keep me from being able to book in the app. I cannot call my office directly via phone - I just get connected to ppl from close knit who don’t work there. It is awful. This is an example of what is broken with the American healthcare system

### 1/5 — Poor function

*2026-06-10, version 1.1.7*

The one thing I need this app to do is scheduled an appointment and it is too buggy to do that.

### 1/5 — Good doctors. Garbage app

*2026-04-03, version 1.1.6*

Whoever designed this system so that patient chats need to be filtered through multiple layers and doesn't automatically go to the doctor needs to be fired.

Even the doctors are complaining they don't immediately receive patient chats, because it's sitting in the inbox of some middleman medical personnel.

### 1/5 — Awful company as a user

*2026-03-12, version 1.1.6*

My doctor’s office recently joined CloseKnit. So far, the experience has been horrible. I love the doctors and don’t want to leave, but calling, messaging or doing pretty much anything other than scheduling an appointment online requires jumping through hoops. Unfortunately, I’ll be looking for providers that are not a part of CloseKnit. This isn’t a reflection of the amazing doctors, but it is a reflection of capitalism gone wrong. This app reflects that corporate greet. Thanks for ruining what was great care, CloseKnit!

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2026-03-03, version 1.1.6*

App does not work whatsoever. If you make your appointment it will fail to connect you to a video call. I was willing to understand technical difficulties but once the help desk number connected me to someone who couldn’t understand a word of English I gave up.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great App. Great scheduling. Great Doctors. I’m very Impressed.

*2026-03-13, version 1.1.6*

I’ve been using closeknit and this App for only a little over a week and I am thoroughly impressed. This is the future of Health Care. I was able to schedule an appointment with a great Doctor less than a week out. My appointment was right on time. The Doctor I scheduled with is probably the best Doctor I’ve seen in my life. He provided immediate referrals and I was seen by several specialists all within a week. All of my results and labs have been processed within 1-2 days with notes from the doctor. I can see all of the information, x rays, labs, health history all inside the App. I love it so far. I’m not sure how this has gotten any negative reviews. Maybe they upgraded the app recently? Grade A+ though from me. Thanks

### 5/5 — Fast and efficient.

*2025-11-13, version 1.1.4*

I had a very positive experience.

### 5/5 — My son needed to be seen and I couldn’t drive to an urgent care

*2024-09-05, version 1.0.3*

It gave me a lot of relief that I could have a visit for my 3 year old on here with a provider who was caring and attentive, he listened to my sons symptoms and was able to provide me with valuable information and advise that turned out to really help my son feel better sooner!!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-02-22*

I have been using the CloseKnit Health app, and I am very satisfied with the service. The app is easy to use, and I can chat with my care team anytime I need. They are very friendly and professional, and they always answer my questions and concerns. The app also helps me schedule appointments, refill prescriptions, and access my health records. I feel more confident and supported in managing my health with the CloseKnit Health app. I highly recommend it.

### 5/5 — Incredible Urgent Care Service

*2024-02-22*

I recently used CloseKnit and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The care and attention to detail provided by the team were absolutely amazing. From start to finish, they did an incredible job ensuring that my needs were met. The platform itself is user-friendly and intuitive, making the whole experience seamless. I highly recommend this platform to anyone in need of virtual services. Kudos to the team for their exceptional work!

### 5/5 — Great virtual care

*2024-02-22, version 1.0.1*

Very user friendly interface and seamless video consults. I really like I can reach a health care specialist at any time! Awesome experience.

### 5/5 — Great app and awesome care

*2023-11-09, version 1.0*

The app was fast and my doctor was quickly able to diagnosis and address my needs and made me feel heard as I described my issues.

### 3/5 — Nobody there when you need it

*2026-06-30, version 1.1.8*

The app will not log in after the correct sign in is done, browser version will redirect you back to the app. All of this will happen when you’ll be sitting in the doctors office realizing you need a referral. If you end up winning and logging in the portal through the site, no worries, you are still screwed, chats are never monitored and if they are - people send you old documentation. I suggest calling this app “Isamyonethere” - this would be the better name for it.

### 3/5 — Great care providers - meh app

*2025-07-21, version 1.1.0*

I give the care I’ve received from the care team 5 stars. The app, however, has a lot to be desired and has caused a great deal of angst. The two ratings average out to a 3. Will still to CloseKnit because the providers are prompt and professional. Easy PCP experiences so far.

### 2/5 — Not able to sign in

*2026-06-29, version 1.1.8*

Waste of time
