I want to renew my recording plan and It seems like they are out of business. I loved that I could purchase a monthly plan when needed because I was mainly using it to monitor my home when I was out of town. Haven’t felt the need to replace it and still satisfied. Pros: We use it as a baby monitor and it work heat for that when we want to check it. Sound and all. Also works perfectly at night in greyscale while being easy in the eyes. Appreciate the screenshot button built it to along with being able to speak to our baby. Improvements: Update for the masters platforms to be supported (iPhone X for example) and really wished this worked from the phone with a cellular connection. What’s up with that?! ### 1/5 — DO NOT BUY *2018-03-14, version 2.21.574* Would like to give it no stars but you have to place one. Tech support is horrible. Cameras disconnect repeatedly. I thought it was the WiFi from cox but after repeated test and nothing else having a problem in the house it was as the cameras. Now in the last two weeks they are not renewing the subscriptions so most likely they are going out of business. I wished I had never purchased these things. It worked great and we loved the option for one month only recording plans. (We used our camera when we were out of town). Then last summer I ended up paying $15 for one month of recording because the app didn't recognize my purchases and I wasn't seeing recordings while we were on a trip. I submitted a help ticket, but I might as well have submitted it to my three year old. The response was about as coherent with no real resolution. Now, I have been trying for two days and can't get any available plans to load on the app or the website. It a total loss of money. I cant believe they no longer support cloud storaging. Well that is what we bought this for and we paid a lot for the cameras. We got an incoherent email about this, that sounds like it comes from a third world country. We took 2 week long trips this summer and the camera disconnected from wifi by day 2 or 3 on both. I did not get a notification in either case but even if I had there is nothing I could have done remotely to address. I will not be renewing the subscription. When it is connected the camera is fine, but it cuts out too much to bother. Below is my original review: It loses the wi-fi connection multiple times per day. You cannot fix it remotely. Thus, you cannot count on it for any type of monitoring when you're not around. I wasn't sure I wanted to pay for video recording so I let it lapse. I decided to give it one more try just this past week and I already regret it. I won't buy another one and will move on to a different vendor in the future. ### 4/5 — Best cam solution *2017-08-04, version 2.21.574* I use this to monitor my elderly grandmother, the 4/5 stars is because 1) the first camera died at almost the 1 year mark BUT simplicam/Closeli replaced it super quick, hassle free. 2) the camera goes off line intermittently, everyday to almost every other day But the Pros outweigh the cons, the ease of access, the video/audio accessibility, the quality of the camera is WAY worth the price and the subscription. I bought this I think 5 years ago and last year was disconnected because I was painting my house then now I reconnect this, everything is connecting but no video it keep buffering the spinning circle line keep spinning and when I read previous review it seems no support for this product. I really like this product cause I can talk to my kids great view and clear but now it’s not working and I don’t want to recommend this to any customers. I think the motion sensitivity is a little too sensitive (even with the range settings) and it triggers an event when a car's headlights drive by one of our front of house windows at night (so Closeli should adjust for that) but otherwise it's great. And we signed up for the $4.99/mo 24 hour cloud video save feature. This cam does two way communication, great night vision, good B&W & color, and you can record and save your videos. The set up takes less than five minutes and they make it so simple to do. I'm running three cams to keep watch on my two mischievous doxies pups. When I catch them doing something bad I just push a button and scold them with the two way com. They must think God is talking to them. Now the best part - when you're away from home the cam will detect any motion or sound and send you an email video or a phone call describing the intrusion. Lastly, the cam has a beta version of facial recognition.
