Why can’t we have something free. I hate this Im in pain and want to have closure but why can’t it be free. Everything is monetary.

My ex and I broke up 8 months ago and I have thought about him everyday since it happened. I think deep down I always hoped they would come back which is why it took so long. Closure helped me understand my emotions and finally break free. Strongly reccomend
