Their subscription makes my laundry chores so much easier. You can add on additional bags to your order and communicate with your clotheslyner through the app. One thing I do recommend is tipping WELL. The people behind the scene doing your laundry have been trained professionally in laundry service and I really encourage you to recognize that since this is app based, recommend an excellent tip. I generally provide around a $20 tip, so with my weekly subscription ($40/wk), that comes out to being roughly $60 per week. $60 for roughly 30 lbs of laundry being picked up and dropped off at your home is AMAZING!! Take care of your Clotheslyner and they will keep grabbing your order bids! Love love love my service - I’ve tried local laundry service brick and mortars and they frankly don’t add up and my clothing is super clean, well fold and above all…organized!! The issues I run into is they have you select 3 different washers to put the job out too but very often it’s given to someone you did not select. You would think this would happen after a few hours of the ones selected not responding but no it happens within minutes which essentially means it don’t matter who you select and your going to get who you get. This can be frustrating when you have had orders with those washers before and they did a poor job. Very few of these washers do a good job, so when you find one you want to continue using them but the service (app) doesn’t make that easy. There should be a few hours time for those you selected to opt in and if there are no responses you should be able to pick again but instead the system assigns you someone within minutes. Be careful i’ve had clothes ruined, shrunken and come back smelling like marijuana and full of lint before. Choosing the right washer is crucial and that’s why they need to fix the issue i mentioned. ### 5/5 — Meticulous *2025-04-28, version 3.6.0* I love this service. My provider was awesome. I chose the 24-48hr service. She showed up several hours late to pick up my laundry. .Then she brought it back 4 days later. The worse part is, my clothes smelled like her house. So I had to wash them again anyway. They refunded the money. I finally spoke with someone the next day. So Cathy M was assigned to pick my clothes up today 5/24 between 4-6. She sends a message that she was picking up after 7:00! SHE NEVER SHOWED! They already charged my credit card for a service I didn’t receive. ### 1/5 — Very bad experience *2023-07-05* My regular laundry service had changed their name and so I was looking for a new service to use in this service first of all charges by the bag and they tell you a a kitchen trash bag but if they deem that it’s too full they will automatically charge you for an additional bag. I paid $40 plus tax for two trash bags and because they deemed one of them was too full. They charge me an additional $33. I’ve got no support no callbacks no nothing from anyone. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I received a response they were basically disputing my review so actually what happened was I left two bags and one of the bags was fuller than the other bag so I paid the $40 plus the fees taxes or whatever and they picked up those two bags it says, the one bag was overflowing rather than charge me another $20 for a third bag they charge me $32 so for one bag I basically paid $52. I have another laundry service that I called to come to pick up the rest of the laundry one that actually weighs it out I had a bag combined that was as big as the bags that they already picked up for me. I was charged 20 bucks because their minimum charge is $20, the actual weight was 19 so it was really $19 so these guys charge me almost $90 for the same exact laundry they are a joke **Developer response:** We appreciate all feedback to help us improve and become better. When using Clotheslyne, we make it explicitly clear to use 13-gallon kitchen bags or our company-provided bags. When a customer pays for a 2-bag order, and our Clotheslyner arrives at pickup, and there are 3 bags, we make an additional charge to compensate the Clotheslyner for the additional laundry. Before making additional charges to a customer account, we call them to inform them about the charges and explain what they're for. When we cannot contact a customer, we leave a voicemail explaining and wait 1-2 hours before making the additional charge. After the charges are made, all customers receive a receipt with an explanation of the charge. Their support was able to find someone else but sadly that person lost 4 articles of clothing and because I didn’t report it in their app (I chose email instead so I had a record of what was sent) they weren’t able to help me. Also $$$ i did the maths for what was washed it would have been. Clothes to just wash at the hotel and that’s not considering that the clothes that was lost / stolen was worth around $120 too. I don’t often leave bad reviews but I felt it was my duty to help other tourists getting ripped off here. **Developer response:** We appreciate all feedback and strive to learn from each customer's order. In this instance, we made several concessions to accommodate this customer, including reorganizing pick-up time and delivery when the customer forgot about his order. We worked with the customer on a missing item report placed two weeks after the order was complete. The customer gave our ClothesLyner a 5-star rating and a rave review during the process. We are disappointed that our efforts to satisfy this customer fell short. ### 1/5 — App glitch prevents me from using the service *2022-09-01, version 1.2.9* Was really looking forward to using the app but the profile page doesn’t let me phone number saying email address is required, but I have email filled out properly already. I also don’t understand why it doesn’t let me verify my cell without my email (what’s the connection between the two?) Or save my account without verifying my email. Seriously, if I’ll have to pay in advance for the service, do you really need to be this rigid with your registration requirement?
