### 3/5 — Such a cool app, rarely works

*2026-06-01, version 5.01*

Really love the idea behind this, but my widgets constantly break on all platforms (iOS, iPadOS, macOS) and just show placeholders, even when i’ve manually reopened the app and synced it

Inside the app, the battery levels are syncing correctly, but the widget no longer displays them. Every few weeks/months, I have to completely remove and reinstall the app to make it work

### 2/5 — You technically are already a supporter of the project and this person won’t look at this review

*2026-05-18, version 5.00*

Ads

### 4/5 — Great to see an update watch app doesn't work

*2026-05-18, version 5.00*

It's great to see an update but the watch app crashes every time it's opened. Even if I uninstall and reinstall it.

### 3/5 — App doesn’t load on Ultra

*2026-05-15, version 5.00*

The app keeps crashing on Apple Watch. I open it and within one second, the app crashes and quits.

### 4/5 — It has a small delay

*2026-03-29, version 4.50*

I took my MacBook out of charge and it took around two minutes for the app to say it got out of charge and another one to 2 minutes for my widgets to update

### 2/5 — Good idea, poor implementation

*2026-02-24, version 4.50*

It initially seems well designed, and such a handy looking utility app. Unfortunately it just doesn’t really work in practice. It fails to update devices, so I have to keep opening them to refresh the data. It defeats the purpose of this app, as I can just see the battery status of each device as I activate it to refresh this app.

### 1/5 — Infrequently updates

*2026-02-03, version 4.50*

Worse than useless. Updates less than every hour. No use to me. Deleted.

### 2/5 — Poor

*2026-01-26, version 4.50*

Not ready for prime time, did pay for it. Hopefully better in the future

### 3/5 — Ok program

*2026-01-18, version 4.50*

Too laggy, times not updated frequently..I’m just whelmed

### 1/5 — Don’t bother . . .

*2026-01-16, version 4.50*

The only device this app can see is the one it’s installed on . . . Can’t see any of my other devices . . . Deleted

### 2/5 — Not loading on my Mac

*2026-01-07, version 4.50*

App does not open on my Mac

### 1/5 — 😒

*2026-01-06, version 4.50*

Useless app!

### 4/5 — GREAT APP!

*2026-01-01, version 4.50*

The app is awesome and it works just fine. great Job CloudBattery!!!!

### 2/5 — Can’t Track Bluetooth Devices

*2026-01-01, version 4.50*

So how exactly are my oem Apple Airpods a “third party device” and not a proprietary Apple device? Disappointing that I can’t see all of my devices.

### 2/5 — Not working on my MacBook

*2025-12-30, version 4.50*

My MacBook is not showing up on list of tracked devices. I downloaded the OS app. Any suggestions?

### 3/5 — Nice but hard to ensure recent

*2025-12-01, version 4.50*

I love the app, but I just wish I knew a way to when I check all four of my devices that the last time they updated was within the last 5 to 10 minutes. It seems they all update at different times and in some cases anywhere between an hour or two prior to current. But again, I love the app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Worked Great Till I Paid

*2026-09-02, version 5.10.1*

I wanted to really support smaller developers who create these kind of helpful little apps that fill in the functional gaps often overlooked by the big corporations. This app was so useful I had it on my iPads, work and personal phones, Apple Ultra Watch.

But sometime recently after I paid for the app, it simply stopped working. It still opens up and loads fine, but none of the icons have updated for months now. I can literally open the app on all my devices and see any given device reading its fixed charge level in the app while looking up at the actual battery dialog and seeing the real readout wildly off. It’s like the whole app simply…stopped.

### 1/5 — cc charged

*2026-07-21, version 5.10.1*

disappointed as soon as i input my cc number i get a charge on it that i don’t recognize
my bank contacted me and cancelled the card. too much of a coincidence if you ask me

### 1/5 — Version 5.01 crashes on Watch

*2026-05-21, version 5.01*

Even with the latest update, the Watch app still crashes. Please fix soon. This used to work.

### 1/5 — Update ruined this app!

*2026-05-16, version 5.00*

Evert since the release of v5.00, this app is pretty much useless. I paid to remove the ads and now it’s not working anymore. I’m just uninstalling this and moving on. The developer doesn’t respond to emails either. 👎🏻

### 1/5 — Watch app broken

*2026-05-16, version 5.00*

Version 5 broke the Apple Watch app. It fails to launch on my Apple Watch Ultra 2.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-03-16, version 4.50*

Despite strong wifi connections and multiple opening and closing the app it doesn’t update the devices on my list and can’t find any of my additional devices. The only battery information that it accurately reports is the battery on my phone that the app is on. Definitely would never waste money paying for this.

### 1/5 — Widget doesn’t even bloody work

*2026-03-11, version 4.50*

I’m done

### 1/5 — Why?

*2026-03-06, version 4.50*

All I want is a display of my phone and watch battery at a glance on my Apple Watch.

One star is the minimum allowed rating. Otherwise it would have been zero.

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2026-02-23, version 4.50*

Not even close to being accurate, for instance my Watch is charged to 100% the App says its at 55%. My advice stay well clear of this.

### 1/5 — Absolute TRASH(paid version) Would be 0 stars

*2026-02-15, version 4.50*

Most of the time, there is an hourglass above my other devices and they haven’t updated in several days. I have the app running and background refresh on all. Would be great but doesn’t give accurate info. Have several screenshots and live shots to prove. Same WiFi network and all. This just DOEN’T WORK!!!!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Failure to set battery boundary

*2026-07-26, version 5.10.1*

I cannot set boundaries for battery notifications on my Apple Watch. Do you know how to fix this?
Other than that, the design looks nice

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-07-02, version 5.10.1*

App does what it promises, installed and found all my devices and now provides one display for them all, super easy setup

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-04-02, version 4.50*

Excellent

### 5/5 — Great app, one tweak needed

*2026-03-02, version 4.50*

Love the app, works well. However, please update the decides list to the current gen devices that are now available on the market.

### 5/5 — Does just what it claims

*2025-11-22, version 4.50*

I’ve been using this for months and have it installed on all my devices. A very straight forward app to keep track of your various Apple device’s battery levels. Put the widget in your sidebar or on the desktop. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — So far so good

*2025-04-12, version 4.43*

So far the product is working as hoped. I’m looking forward to finally knowing the status of all my devices

### 5/5 — Good App, but some shortcomings.

*2025-04-03, version 4.43*

I can track my Apple Watch, iPad, iPhone & Apple Pencil. But I have a Magic Mouse that I can’t see for some reason. Photos and documentation in the App & Website have shown, Apple’s Magic Mouse but the Cloud Battery App on my iPad/iPhone can’t seem to find it at all. Any help or contact would be extremely grateful.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2025-02-24, version 4.43*

This app is absolutely great!! Absolutely great and works for all my apple devices Mac mini, iPhone, iPads, apple watch, magic mouse, track pad, keyboard with numeric keypad, and my apple pencil. Very happy I found it. It even works with some of my non apple devices like my typecase keyboard with trackpad and my bluetooth mouse for my ipad. The only thing it doesn’t work with is my non apple earbuds. But that is okay its the only thing. Definitely a great app!!!

### 5/5 — Awesome and Extremely useful!

*2025-02-07, version 4.43*

This is the first App Store review I have left for an app I believe. This app is perfect. It does what it says for free. There are some customization features that can be purchased if you wish to do so. From what I understand anyways. But I’m using it on all my devices in “stock” mode and it’s working great and I love the ability to have a widget on my devices letting me know what’s powered and what’s not. The design of the app is simple and clean. And it’s very easy to use and get configured. I normally don’t write reviews but I felt that this DEV needed to be praised for the excellent work! Only issue I have is when I hit upgrade to try and support the project nothing is happening. All the other buttons work but that one is unresponsive. and that’s about it. Great app! 10 stars.

### 5/5 — Perfect Solution for Tracking iPad battery on iPhone

*2024-06-25, version 4.42*

If you own both an iPhone and iPad, you’re probably aware that there’s no way add either device to the native battery widget of the other. Cloud battery solves that. The fact it connects via internet as opposed to Bluetooth allows you to track battery levels from anywhere, which is convenient. When i initially tried the app about a year ago, there were times when it didn’t seem to refresh often enough and would therefore give an inaccurate battery level. Fortunately, it seems like all the quirks have been figured out by the developers, and it now seems to work flawlessly. Great app to have on Apple Watch as well.
