I have a few other temping apps but cloud is my favorite as everything is clear and in your face. I enjoy that you can see the actual office name/address compared to others only show “local office with zip code” that way I can even do my own research via google of an office to just dig a little deeper on what I’m getting myself into for the day/temp shift! I do take away 1 star due to the fact that when I switched over to RDH from DA I was unable to keep both profiles. I wish this was an option. Some days I might want to just be a temp dental assistant instead of hygienist lol as hygiene burnout is real! Hope this can become an option in the future to be able to have multiple profiles as lots of dental professional have went to school/been trained in many roles in the dental office! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Horrible Policies *2026-07-20* I would strongly recommend against downloading or using this app for your temping needs!!! I contacted customer support to request that my profile and personal information be removed because I never actually used the app—I ended up using other platforms instead. Unfortunately, I was told that I couldn’t delete my own profile or remove my personal information. It also appears that changes to your account require contacting support, and even then, my request to have my information removed was denied. If having control over your personal data is important to you, this is something to consider before signing up. There are plenty of other temping apps available that offer similar opportunities, so I would recommend exploring those instead. ### 1/5 — Late penalties *2026-07-20, version 3.9.0* This app works in favor for offices. The professional can get last minute cancellations and receive zero compensation and nothing happens to the office. Showed up to a shift and was sent home early and not compensated for the entire shift. This app has the most job listings due to offices having zero accountability. ### 1/5 — Too many emails!!! *2026-06-23, version 3.9.0* Stop sending 12 emails of the same message in a row!!! ### 1/5 — Unpredictable *2026-06-12, version 3.8.8* Since Cloud Dentistry is not the contact for contracted jobs, the doctors can cancel your job for no reason whenever they want without repercussions. Bad experience and no support from the staff at Cloud. I do not recommend. ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2025-11-17, version 3.7.3* Doesn’t allow for direct bookings. Multiple professionals apply for listings but offices do not have a time frame to respond or choose someone. If an office proposes a booking to you then you must respond immediately or else you are docked points. Higher listed temps are shown first. As a long time quality temp this setup makes it impossible to plan a schedule in advance. I don’t need or want offices asking me to work I want to choose the days I work that is why I’m a temp. ### 1/5 — Moral compass *2025-06-11* Department of labor relations complaints have been filed and now it looks as if further legal action is what it will take to get paid for one day of work. I was told by the director of client relations that I should forgo getting paid for my day of hard work and was then promptly and permanently blocked from the app and all communication ghosted. For literally one day of work. I am the top rated dental assistant across the platform according their own calculations and even though I explained that I’m in an unhoused situation, living in my car that I certainly don’t expect anyone to give me special treatment, I was basically ignored and have now for one month still not been paid. I’m not perfect and I’m not saying that contracts aren’t important but this isn’t a court of law and I’m not asking for an envelope of cash, yet for this company no solution that connects me with my hard earned money are even an option. The moral of the story is maybe don’t red line the very people working to keep the company in business and understand that life happens whether we like it or not. Do or don’t use this app but I’m not recommending it, I will get my money for the day I worked and hopeful for the employee who has been working so hard to get me not paid, I hope your efforts in this matter are worth it and your leadership team is on your side. I ask you though is what you are hoping to accomplish here going to make cloud dentistry stronger and on the moral high grounds of business, or is this going to be your understanding that across all social media platforms yours included my campaign to pressure you and keep the public informed may just be a waste of your time and energy and company expenses? I’m not going away, and I’m not sure why any business would go so low just to be unkind and “right. Till my update take care world. Update: still haven’t gotten paid! All they care about is doctors offices. Doctors are choosing low pay providers and calling us to lower our rates and will try to get us to work at their office. And applied first at many offices and yet the offices have the ability to choose the lowest price person. Have had many office has to go as low as $40. When reporting to cloud services they would not help. And gave a pre fabricated message and no assistance. I never get any notification even though my notifications are on, I have to check the actual app to see job postings! 2. The payments can be sooner being that other apps I use is either same day or 2 business days. 3. It’s not tech savvy you have to fill out a physical paper timesheet and get it signed 4. I drove 30 miles to an office the Doctor no shows me which gets your account suspended for 2 weeks even thought they didn’t even contact me to see if it was true! I contacted them sent them pictures and let them know I did show and the Doctor told me her schedule fell apart and all they said they could do was remove the suspension! Not only can you find a permanent job through them, but you can also temp if you already have a full-time job (love doing that around the holidays).
