Why make mobile solutions with RFID/NFC/Barcode scans harder than it needs to be?

Use Scanfob® and idChamp® Brand RFID/NFC Reader/Writers and Barcode Scanners, and other wireless Bluetooth barcode scanners with Mobile Grid for fast mobile solutions. Use for attendance management, roll taking, bus rider tracking, inventory counting, asset tracking, inspections, security rounds, field service, grocery lists, wine lists, parts lists, hobby parts, books, DVDs, product kit building, packing lists… and whatever you can think of.

Send data from your mobile with the press of a button. Send via email, FTP, SQL, XML-RPC, box.com - all the press of a button. Send in many formats like Excel XLS, CSV, PDF, HTML, TXT.

Why not just use Bluetooth HID (keyboard mode) devices? 

Many Bluetooth devices are not supported on iOS, and when they are apps must be updated to work.

For example use BLE and MFi devices like idChamp RS3 NFC, idChamp 1862 UHF GEN2, idChamp 1128 UHF GEN2, RS420 LF Livestock reader and countless other models with ALL iOS apps that take typed input, e.g. FileMaker Go.
RFID-NFC and barcode enable web apps and native apps for inventory, cycle counting, asset tracking, book scouting, package tracking, medical apps - all apps can be RFID, NFC, Barcode, Sensor enabled with SerialMagic Keys.

Scanfob®, idChamp, caBLE(tm) dongle, Bluetooth Smart (BLE) devices.  Bluetooth Smart CaBLE can iOS enable virtually any RS-232 device to iOS.

Scanfob® 6000 Scanner, OPN2006, Koamtac KDC Scanners, Socket Scanners, 8Qi, Honeywell, Symbol, and hundreds more. Read & write NDEF data using idChamp RS4x, NF2. Keyboard simulation can post NDEF data to any app that can accept keystrokes.

Read HID Corporate 1000 cards, Seos, BLE credentials and more using idChamp RS4 for high security applications.

Write UHF GEN2 EPC and user memory tags with Scanfob® Ultra-BB2, idChamp 1862, idChamp 1128, and more.

Measure distance with Leica Disto E7100i, E7500i, etc. and post Keyboard simulation post measurements to all apps that accepts keystrokes. Use measurement rounding feature for simplified use e.g. round to nearest fraction of foot, meter, inch.

Also supports iOS camera barcode reading, and scanning sleds like Captuvo.

Why tap when you don’t have to? Mobile Grid has the option to automatically pop up a number or QWERTY keypad after every barcode scan making data entry even easier.

Stray taps causing you frustration? Often with spreadsheet data entry on touch screen devices unexpected taps occur and put the focus in the wrong place so when scanning the barcode the data is not where expected. Mobile Grid can put every scan in the first column no matter where the focus is on the mobile grid.

Mobile Grid also captures data from the WiSnap™ WiFi RS-232 serial adapter so you can capture data from barcode scanners, RFID tags, scales, digital calipers, sensors and virtually any legacy RS232 serial device compatible with the WiSnap™ serial adapter.

With an optional (paid account) download data with description information to your mobile, so when you scan you can get description of the item just scanned.

I purchased a kdc200i barcode scanner as I was excited to use ut in my iPad. I could get the basic sync software to work but can't fir the life if me figure out how to get the scanner to do anything at all in this software. No instructions even. The price of free even us too high given the frustration
