My OLD REVIEW: NINETEEN sat-views to choose from. You select the closest station and set your own favorites. Not a subscription! Love it. I’ve used for years. However…All of a sudden iOS 16 is “REQUIRED”. Had to reinstall to see if white screen with no image would resolve. It did. I can’t go up in iOS. Will just do without it if they pull this version. I was taught if it ain’t broken don’t fix it. So why does apple ALLOW DEVS to drop versions with no backwards compatibility unless they don’t actually care about users. DEVS SHOULD CARE FIRST/FOREMOST ABOUT ㋛ ### 2/5 — Does not show city selected. *2022-05-09* I choose Chicago and I get the state of Illinois over to Michigan and Ohio?? Why?? I installed uninstalled several times and still get the same thing. ### 2/5 — Looks good but too many crashes *2018-03-21* Great tool... when it works. Instantly crashes when trying to view more than one location. The updated sat views are nice, but i prefer an app that works over one w nice features that is aggravating as hell when trying to use. ### 2/5 — Is interesting *2016-05-01* I've been looking for an app that displays clouds on earth live like the normal radar that everyone sees. I wana be able to watch cloud formations instead of the condensation in the clouds. Pictures are a bit misleading. ### 4/5 — Works well for what it is *2014-09-20* Does what I expect it to. I was glad to see an update to this after it was broken for quite some time. Looping would be nice, but otherwise it works. ### 1/5 — Do not update if you have ios 6 *2014-01-27, version 1.8* Cloud map crashes the instant it's pressed ### 2/5 — Cloudmap crash *2014-01-13* Worked fine for a long time but with the newest update it crashes immediately. I'm using OS 5.1.1 on original IPad. It's great before they messed with it. ### 4/5 — Big improvement *2014-01-09* The stability problems seem to have been solved. So this app now does what the title implies — show the cloud cover in your location, plus favorites of your choice from a fairly sizable location list. The one thing withholding that 5th star is the startlingly dissonant banner ads across the bottom that don’t play nicely with the B&W of the satellite view. I would gladly pay a $ or 2 as an IAU to get rid of these annoying things. ### 1/5 — Don't get it waste of time *2013-09-09, version 1.6* Trust me not the best app it may look good but it's not. ### 4/5 — Simple *2013-07-03* Don't expect a lot of bells and whistles. It does exactly what it advertises and nothing else. Hey, it's a "freebie"!
