I stream audiobooks from my Google Drive and half the time it works great. The other half are it getting in a buffering loop or starting at the beginning of a book instead of where I stopped. So great when it works and frustrating when it’s temperamental. ### 3/5 — No m4b support *2026-03-01, version 2.55.11* Everything seems to work except that m4b is not supported. Useless. ### 4/5 — Früher bester Hörbuch-Player… *2024-10-14* …und seit 2022 endlich mit Unterstützung für Geteilte Ablagen (Google Drive), auch wenn dort der unlimitierte Speicherplatz zwischenzeitlich weggefallen ist. Aber BookPlayer und Bound finde ich mittlerweile überlegen durch die Sleeptimer zum Ende des Kapitels, wenn man die Cloud-Funktion nicht benötigt. Tipp: wenn man sowieso Office 365 in der Family Version nutzt (Office für rund 60€/Jahr), bekommt man für 6 Accounts jeweils 1 TB Speicherplatz und kann von jedem Account dann zB einen Ordner freigeben, sodass man in CloudBeats immer 6TB an Hörspielen mit sich herum tragen kann, ohne dass lokaler Speicher relevant belegt wird! **Developer response:** Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung. There seems to be an issue where my latest uploads from one-drive are not being added to my library. Please fix this as this is preventing me from purchasing the paid version. Thanks. ### 4/5 — App bastante mejorable *2024-04-01* La App está bastante bien y cumple a la perfección pero tiene algunos errores, a veces al cambiar de libro o escuchar otro en car Play al volver a otro título, este empieza desde el principio perdiendo todo el progreso, aunque tiene marcadores es un poco incómodo. En la pestaña de títulos el orden mostrado no es correcto, un poco lioso.Me gustaría una interface más moderna, por ejemplo el apartado HOME con más secciones. Me gustaría que admitiese formato Ogg. Por lo demás la aplicación va bastante bien, el sonido es bueno, descarga los meta datos y puedes ver tu colección sin descargar en tfno, merece la pena pagar por ella, pero deben mejorarla. 5 estrellas cuando la pulan un poco. ### 3/5 — Swipe stopped working *2024-03-12* Definitely a good app in theory but it has some bugs, and for some reason swiping left and right to jump back and forward stopped working with the latest update. Frustrating. To be fair, this seems to be a problem with a lot of other such players. Just a rewind 15 seconds, and a forward 15 seconds button would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, a great app. Thanks. Much appreciated. ### 4/5 — Simple, easy to use but annoying too *2023-12-03* I found this app did exactly what I needed it to do. Play audio files from my google drive. And while I think the app does its job well for the most part it is extremely annoying in just one area that ruins the whole experience - After listening for some time especially if it’s a long audio series, the app just stops working around the start of a new chapter or at the 2 minute mark. You then have to close the app, reopen it and then navigate the playback to the exact place you left off. It can get very annoying, like when I’m taking a walk or when I’m washing dishes or even more annoying when I’m taking a shower and I have to come out with soap all over just to replay my audio file. No thanks! ### 1/5 — Deleting files is arduous *2024-07-13* I delete audiobooks when I’m done listening to them. Deleting files from CloudBeats is an arduous and uncertain process. First you tap the 3 vertical dots, then you tap “remove from offline,” then you tap “remove,” then tap the 3 vertical dots again, then tap “remove from library,” then sometimes (but not always) CloudBeats will download the book immediately afterwards. In one case, I had to remove the files from Google Drive to keep CloudBeats from downloading them without me telling it to. Elle nécessiterait un petit rafraîchissement au niveau du look par exemple l’icône fait un peu vieillot et ne donne pas trop envie. D’autre part, j’aimerais pouvoir mettre une autre couleur que cette couleur bleue qui est un peu dépassée. Le rouge de Storytel est magnifique. Il faudrait aussi mieux gérer les bookmarks comme par exemple un appui long servant pour automatiquement mettre un bookmark sans être obligé d’ouvrir un menu. I’ve looked at some other apps and synchronization is like $60 a year with other apps. Along with some other feature I don’t really care about. $8 a year for syncing between devices is definitely doable. And the one time payment for the rest of the features is a great touch. An app that allows me to stream my digitized CDs, Vinyls and collections of mp3 tracks right from my OneDrive account. No space-hogging import. No lengthy indexing. No nothing.
