This is unfortunate as many of the facilities have poor WiFi and no service for data. The app often crashes when it cannot connect. It consistently has pop ups advertising other tours, and then begs for reviews. There is only audio for about 1/2 of the locations. The rest are exact copies of the information posted outside the location. UI was also suboptimal, and some rooms on App vs Palace were not in order of fixed tour route. Tried to download it in advance but there was no download button - until I started the tour later on and realised it hadn’t downloaded. Bugs meant random clips didn’t work. Then it crashed. Then I reopened the app and it asked me for my original code again. ### 1/5 — Horrible experience *2024-05-19, version 5.3.4* Sintra audio tour used this app. It kept on freezing every other minute and asking for single use activation code. We gave up after wasting time for 10-15 minutes. I am on iPhone 14 Pro Max with good LTE connectivity and don’t have any issues with the performance of other apps. ### 1/5 — Code issues *2024-05-08, version 5.3.4* I can’t comment on the quality of the app itself as I could not get it to work. It was supposed to be used for audio on a museum tour. Lots of nags and terrible nav *2024-03-30* Content is good—used it in Sintra. But the app constantly nags for ratings and feedbacks in the middle of a tour. Whoever thought pop-ups are a good UX also made the navigation elements on iOS non-standard and tiny, off on the edges of the screen. A simple website with a playlist would be vastly superior. (And more secure for the content. Kind regards, CloudGuide Team ### 1/5 — Frustrating Experience *2024-03-19, version 5.3.4* Scanned the QR Code as we were entering Peña Palace in Portugal. Many steps to navigate to pay for and activate the app and guide. Download repeatedly stalled and then would error out. Tried the streaming option for awhile but it was flakey. In many instances we would enter the code at the stop and find there was no audio. Just text, which was the same text written on the plaque at the stop. Eventually succeeded in completing the download but the whole process was a distraction from enjoying the tour of the palace. Couldn’t go back and start over. Found that when there was audio, I had to stop and restart to actually hear. It would sometimes play silently even after downloading until restarted. Recommend that the developers be clear up front about how many stops on the tour actually have audio. If you decide to buy, download and experiment with the interface before you get to your first destination. I suspect if we went back to the palace now that we have had a chance to play with the app, the experience would be better. Have also not looked at whether there is an advantage to creating an account. Extremely frustrating. Also if app loses focus that downloads start from scratch. This is unacceptable. When we tried to contact help it says access denied!! It must be a scam, don’t buy.. ### 1/5 — Straight garbage designed by a child *2024-10-21* Only a child with amateur programming skills can design such a garbage app. Confusing layout. Crashes even after downloading. Don’t bother buying any audio tours if you have to use this garbage. It will ruin your experience. It did not work beyond the first station. It was formatted incorrectly for my iPhone 15 Pro Max, froze often, and stopped working when the internet was poor (you know…as it tends be at sites in the mountains offering audio guides (there was 5G outside and Edge inside)).
