## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.42 — 2026-10-11

Bug fixes
• Cloudmesh sometimes swore you were offline while every other app on your phone loaded just fine. Some mobile networks and Wi-Fi hotspots were quietly blocking the address we fetched your weather from. We moved to our own address, so radar, rain alerts and forecasts now come through on those networks too. The clouds were never the problem. We were.

### 1.1.41 — 2026-10-10

A small tune-up behind the scenes. The rain didn't notice, and neither will you.

Same minute-by-minute rain alerts, same radar, same forecasts. Keep an eye on the sky.

### 1.1.39 — 2026-09-30

Your Watch Buddy pick now actually shows up on your wrist.

• Picked Cloud Kitty, Drip or Mochi, and your watch stubbornly kept the classic Cloud Buddy? The watch fetches its own weather now, and it decided that newer weather meant your pick no longer counted. Very confident. Very wrong. It now keeps its fresh weather and wears the buddy you chose.
• Same mix-up with °C and °F: switching units on your iPhone now reaches the watch, even if the watch has just refreshed on its own.

### 1.1.38 — 2026-09-29

Cloud Buddy learned some new tricks, and your watch finally keeps up.

• Your watch app was crashing every time your iPhone handed it fresh weather. Imagine fainting whenever someone brings you coffee. That's why the watch so rarely updated. Fixed.
• The watch now refreshes itself in the background the way watchOS actually allows, and it no longer drops updates your iPhone sends while it's asleep.
• Buddy has new moods: it hangs on to its scarf when it's windy, wears earmuffs when it's cold, holds up an umbrella when rain is minutes away, and cheers under a rainbow when the rain is about to stop.
• Tap Buddy for a wink and a random trick: a hop, a spin, a twirl or a giggle. Turn the Digital Crown to give it a wobble. It snores at night, sweats in the heat and puffs frosty breath in the cold.
• Premium: pick your watch buddy in Settings → Apple Watch Buddy. Cloud Kitty, Drip and Mochi join the classic Cloud Buddy, with every mood.
