### 1/5 — No delete log function?

*2024-02-15*

Can’t delete cloud log files! No settings ability. App software developers must bet taking idiot pills! Not worth the effort!

**Developer response:** You can delete individual log entries by swiping left. Thanks.

### 5/5 — Outstanding Field Guide app

*2017-09-22, version 1.51*

Three reasons why this is a great app: 1)Cloudy Sky's immense educational values are equaled by it's easy use. 2) I have a number of resource books on cloud spotting and this app condenses a truly impressive amount of that information. 3) It's availability on an IPhone makes it a grand instrument to use frequently outside. I highly recommend this app.

### 5/5 — I love this app! It has bugs, though...

*2016-03-12, version 1.30*

Like the review, the app is absolutely fantabulous! I'm a teenaged meteorology geek and I say this app is perfect for what I want to record and know about clouds. I didn't know there were subspecies of clouds, like fractus and mamma. Then, there are the bugs. After my third cloud log in a row, it has a tendency to crash. I have to close the app and turn my phone off and on (but whatever, I'm not that lazy). Then when I log the clouds, it will choose the first subspecies when I specifically tap on the camera for a different type of cloud, so I have to go and change it all over again. But overall, five definite stars because this app rocks. It's so helpful to my dream job (which is, of course, a meteorologist) and it helps you predict weather without a radar (looking at you, weather person on TV!), so yay on that :).

### 4/5 — Excellent presentation of the information!

*2014-10-03, version 1.30*

This is the best cloud identifier app that I've come across. It even has the meteorological signs for the various cloud types, and the pictures are excellent! I can ID clouds with this app very easily. The other similar (in category only) apps I found that not as easy.

I can't believe, though, that not only does it not support landscape orientation, it only supports one portrait orientation! Come on these aren't the iPhone 1 days. Fifth star when it supports ALL orientations. I wore out my first Zagg Folio case because of apps like this from sliding my iPad in and out of it.

### 5/5 — Fantastic--more than I imagined

*2014-08-29, version 1.30*

I've had this app for awhile now-- happy to have found it for my bit of interest in clouds. The wonderful thing is that I keep finding out how much it offers-- great photos that help one see distinctions, easily accessed info about cloud types (and subtypes) including helpful info such as the likelihood of precipitation from each type. Really an excellent, smooth app, so glad the developer keeps it going!

### 5/5 — Perfect for Roadtrips

*2012-08-08, version 1.20*

While driving through Arizona, we were enjoying the cloudy skies and realized we could look up information about clouds if we could find an app. So much information. Taking pictures of the clouds we saw and matching them to the pictures entertained and informed us for many miles.
Great for kids, too. A science lesson in the palm of my hand.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2011-07-03, version 1.10*

Very interesting app. You get to learn about different clouds. Love it!!!
It's educational!

### 5/5 — Love CloudySky on my Ipad

*2011-06-29, version 1.10*

When it first came out, I couldn't get it because all I have is an Ipad 2. So glad it came out for the Ipad. The colors are rich and clean, the photos are fantastic and I am now able to do what I've always wanted to do...not just stare at clouds and dream - but now I'm able to identify them. The other thing I love is the way it identifies whether a certain type of cloud indicates inclemate weather or not. Very, very cool.

### 5/5 — I love clouds! And I love this app!

*2011-06-17, version 1.0*

We like looking at clouds, and this makes learning about them fun and easy.

My husband knows quite a bit about cloud types, and he was impressed by the depth of the sub-categories of each type of cloud.

It's a beautiful and useful app. Even if you are not "into" clouds, you would find the information fascinating.

A nifty feature, is the Latin translator, so you can know what the names mean.

We're having fun with it, and if you have any interest in the skies, get this app.
