## What is Clover?

Is your plant unhappy? Clover helps you figure out why — and what to do about it.

Snap a photo of your plant, add a short description of what's wrong, and Clover cross-checks several AI models to give you the best possible diagnosis you can act on: the likely cause, how serious it is, and a simple care plan. When the models disagree, Clover says so instead of guessing.

- Identify a plant from a photo — common name, botanical name, and family
- Diagnose problems from a photo and a short description
- See how many independent checks agreed on the diagnosis
- Get a care plan: watering, light, next steps, and warning signs
- Set a watering and feeding rhythm for each plant, and see what's due today
- Save diagnoses to your plants and track them over time
- Get a care guide for a plant Clover has identified — watering, light,
humidity, fertilizing, pruning, and pet toxicity
- Compare your plant with reference photos of its species

No account needed. A free monthly allowance of identifications, diagnoses and care guides is included.

Clover Pro is an optional monthly subscription. It lifts the monthly limits on identifications, diagnoses and care guides — fair use applies — and adds care reminder notifications on the day a plant's rhythm comes due. Your plants, their rhythms and history stay free.

Clover Pro renews automatically each month until you cancel, and you can cancel any time in your App Store settings. The price is shown in the app before you subscribe.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 2.0.0 — 2026-09-07

Care reminders now arrive as notifications — Clover tells you on the day a plant's watering or feeding is due, with a mark-done button on the notification and a follow-up if you miss one.

Notifications are part of Clover Pro, a new optional monthly subscription. Setting rhythms and seeing what's due on the Care tab stay free.

Clover Pro also lifts the monthly limits on identifications, diagnoses and care guides — fair use applies. This update doesn't change your free monthly allowance.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-04

No release notes.
