When you have a good run going, you can do household chores waiting for one spin to finish, and no that’s not hyperbole. There’s no reason to make people stare at animations for minutes at a time. On Deadline 58, every time I hit the 666 jackpot, the game freezes and crashes. When I reopen it, my save is still there, but I lose a round every time. Please fix this! The description the game working could use a little boost. It would help to have more “?” Symbols to click on to help explain how different mechanisms work. But - you will have enough fun playing to keep going even if you don’t really understand everything. And eventually you catch on! It’s worth the $4.99 I paid. I, however, seem to find that the games I play either end up with me getting out in the first or second round or going really far. And it’s usually multiple games of early loss and then one really successful game shoehorned in there. I would enjoy some variability, the game is just too predictable. Or, rather, inconsistent. I would get it if this was a real slot machine, but it’s a game. ### 4/5 — Bug fix *2026-06-30, version 1.4.8* I unlocked the 3rd drawer and when I came back to continue my run the 3rd drawer was locked again and I couldn't get it back ### 5/5 — Let’s go gambling! *2026-06-30, version 1.4.8* Aw dang it. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Bugged, Don’t buy *2026-08-20, version 1.4.8* The games concept is good, but even when you have perfect setup it intentionally fails you at certain points even when you have the buffs that would make it impossible for the failing result to show up. Example of this, I got to a point where I brought the spawn rate of other slot results down to single digits except 7’s I got 25+ percent while maintaining 1.5% on 666 and insane amount of luck. Almost every single time like 9 out of 10 if I get a 7’s jackpot before that round ends, not deadline, within that same slot round a 666 will show up to erase the wins. You can only have so many black books to stop the 666 from erasing your winnings. These mechanics are intentionally coded in to stop you from progressing too fast even though you might be in a tremendously lucky run they still ruin it by forcing losses. Either the devs don’t understand percentages or the numbers don’t mean anything and only the temporary buffs from charged items matter or get calculated. Save your money. ### 1/5 — Says 4.99 and charged 44.98 *2026-08-04, version 1.4.8* I’ve seen this game on YouTube so I wanted to try it but buying it and getting charged $44.98 is very upsetting and feels like a major scam. ### 1/5 — I can’t recommend this game *2026-08-03, version 1.4.8* Getting a 666 and losing all your coins is way too punishing. I finally got enough for 144 million and it took all my coins away and I lost. It took forever of grinding and playing over and over and over to get better charms and phone calls. All that just to watch finally being able to reach the goal you have been trying so hard to get to just go down the drain. It was an awful feeling and I’m never playing this game again. Killed the joy and fun out of this game for me. If you’re into grinding and hoping you get lucky and don’t care about it all being taken away, then more power to you. You’ll enjoy it. But if you don’t want to be rewarded with your dedication of playing this game by getting a cheap game over - stay far away. I love all the twist and turns and feel like you are in complete control of your own demise with it you might be trying to build one thing and ruin your whole run but it’s super cool to run through all the different ways to play the game. I don’t know how many times I’ve played it but every single time you start you have that thought how should I do it there’s so many different ways. Repeating animations and waiting through long transitions kills the fun. Please consider adding a simple speed toggle (like 2x or 4x) in a future update. It would make a huge difference for mobile players. This is easily one of the most addictive and cleverly designed roguelikes I’ve played on iOS. It scratches the same itch as Balatro and Luck Be a Landlord while still feeling completely original. There are so many interesting mechanics and interactions to discover that every run teaches you something new. I’ve already put a lot of hours into it, and I’m still finding new combinations and hidden systems. My one request is for a higher animation speed—or even better, an option to skip the scoring animations entirely. Once you get into the late game and builds are producing 40+ Ultra Jackpots or massive pattern chains every spin, the game becomes animation-bound rather than gameplay-bound. Even at 4× speed, a single spin can easily take over a minute to resolve. During your first successful run that’s exciting, but once you’ve already experienced it, those long waits become the biggest obstacle to replayability. A 10× or 20× speed option, or a simple “Instant Resolve” / “Skip Scoring Animations” toggle, would make a huge difference for experienced players who want to keep pushing longer runs and experimenting with new builds without spending most of their time waiting for animations. Other than that, this is an outstanding game and one of the best premium roguelikes available on iOS. Highly recommended. ### 5/5 — Fuel the Addiction *2026-07-22, version 1.4.8* Pretty fun, it is (obviously) very heavily based on luck, but really only in the early stages. Once you get into the late game stages, your charms and stats will carry you through. Sadly, I’ve had some insane runs, but I have never been able to unlock the elevator. (if you know you know) Plus there are so many lucky charms it’s ridiculous, and with the new DLC, (paid) it adds even more varieties and crazy build combinations. And even though I’ve never really branched out, I’ve seen some interesting lucky charms, and specifically I’ve thought of making a 666 build, and along with all the charms there are memory cards, which modify the run and give a new feel to the game each time. I love the graphics and art style, and the unholy and demonic feel everything has, and playing it has been very enjoyable.
