It doesn’t respond with any updated and closed request with out any action. It’s sad. ### 1/5 — Crashes constantly *2023-12-13, version 2.7.3* It looks nice at a glance but it crashes so much I can’t do anything with it. Restarting the app or even the phone doesn’t help. Unusable ### 1/5 — This app is crap *2023-11-01, version 2.7.3* Just downloaded the app in the hopes of reporting a dog that is being left outside 24/7. Not only did I not find a spot to report the animal/owner, but I also wasn’t able to click on anything. I tried to click through the options-nothing happened. I tried to change screens to profile or more and nothing happened. The app plain doesn’t work. Much like the City of Charlotte. ### 1/5 — Buggy *2023-08-15, version 2.7.3* This app is too buggy to accomplish anything. I tried to submit a request which wouldn’t go through due to some invalid error. The same was true when I tried to provide feedback to the app developer. The tickets status was in-process. I called 311. The person who picked up the call told me there is no record related to my address. So I told 311 my problem to resolve the issue. So please call 311. Don’t waste your time. ### 1/5 — App is buggy *2021-08-07, version 2.2.2* Unable to add address to my profile or make a request ### 1/5 — Terrible for Paying bills *2021-06-14, version 2.2.2* Terrible app when it comes to updates on your bill. I have had to use other ways to pay my bills due to the fact the app won’t update and won’t let me see my current balance on my water bill. It has said $0.00 due for water since March 🙄 ### 1/5 — Utter garbage, totally useless *2020-07-15, version 1.0.11* This piece of trash is easily a decade out of date, you can’t see your bill or pay your bill though it, and their website doesn’t work on mobile devices for payment because they’re using an archaic payment service that apparently has no API they could call. I’d have sent them feedback, but their feedback form requires a Charlotte address, and my Charlotte address comes up in the search and the form then rejects saying it is not a valid Charlotte address, so then you can’t even submit feedback. How this disaster got the stars it has is beyond me. There is literally nothing functional about this app, I’d give it less stars if I could. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — I wish I could give zero stars. *2026-05-11, version 2.8.4* App crashes as I’m sending my report to get some trees trimmed. ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-02-11, version 2.8.4* The app does not support reporting when trash or recycling is not picked up, which happens often. It would be very simple to add this functionality. I instead spent 7 minutes on the phone to report something that could be accomplished in seconds with a few clicks on the app. ### 1/5 — Typical government incompetence *2025-05-29, version 2.7.4* What a piece of junk. High school kid can write a better application. Also has horrible instructions that don't provide any solutions or guidance. Stayed on hold for 30 minutes while continuously hearing to download this app for easier access to service, only to find that this app is missing key features. ### 1/5 — Broken *2024-12-01, version 2.7.4* Ever since it updated to the new version, it just gives me an error to call 311 rather than use the app. ### 1/5 — What happened *2024-11-04, version 2.7.4* Used to be helpful now does nothing ### 1/5 — No hief image support *2024-09-25, version 2.7.4* Any attached images will throw a cryptic error. Looks like hief (the default image format of all iOS devices) is not supported. Converting to png will allow submission of photos, an oft annoying process when already trying to enter information reporting an issue. They really need to hire better developers or better product owners. I hope all the issues will be fixed. Please learn from Duke Energy ## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Love this app!!! *2024-09-24, version 2.7.4* Best way to communicate community needs, from bulky trash pick up to yard signs in public way to request for sidewalks, crosswalks and traffic signals. Easy to use, quicker than sitting on hold through 311. ### 4/5 — Helpful app *2025-01-02, version 2.7.4* I’ve found the trash/recycling calendar and the bulky item pickup tools to be very helpful. The navigation and layout could be improved. ### 3/5 — Calendar events needs improvement *2024-10-22, version 2.7.4* The app is decent, but really I just use it to see if it’s trash and recycling or just trash pick up in my neighborhood. At the top of the screen, it shows current date, but below that with the events, it is defaulting to two months prior. I have to scroll and scroll. Sometimes when I do that, the app starts to go wonky on me and I can’t see the current date at all. ### 3/5 — App Seems Broken *2024-07-26, version 2.7.4* This is a great app but looks like it needs an update. It keeps giving connection errors. Please fix because it’s a great app normally! ### 3/5 — Mapping and Feedback issues *2019-10-26, version 1.0.3* I have to tried to put in a few requests for light sequence changes as well as submit feedback about the light request not working but the feedback portion of the app doesn’t work either. I get an error message saying request Type ID is required but there isn’t an option for that... so yeah this app has great potential but has some bugs to work out...so 3 stars for now. ### 2/5 — Updated app is broken *2021-04-04, version 2.2.1* I have scheduled a bulky item pickup before, but since the last update, it doesn’t work. I can enter everything except my address. The app ‘finds’ my address but then won’t save it to the field. I tried to save it to my profile, but that has the same issue. ### 2/5 — Great idea but not there yet *2019-11-19, version 1.0.3* I tried to call 311 this morning about a neighbor’s nonstop barking dog and the touchtone system didn’t work so I downloaded the app. The app didn’t have a nuisance animal complaint spot so I tried to put in some feedback but it requires a request ID type and there is no spot to input that so it wouldn’t send.
