Whilst I could search for my home address I could not save the address using the Home button. It seems to have wiped out all my previous history of journeys and settings as well. ### 1/5 — Unusable. Uber’s Best Weapon *2022-08-15, version 737* I know of Club Cars very well, and used to use them a lot to get me from home to the airport. But then the prices went skyhigh and became unaffordable. Then Uber took over the world, and Club Cars re-launched and obviously looked at their pricing and became a little bit more competitive. But I’ve not had much of an opportunity to use them for a while. I have however, used Uber quite a bit out of necessity. But today, stuck in the centre of Manchester with cancelled trains, I decided to give them another chance and to NOT use Uber, but I had to download the app for Club Cars first. The first step is to enter your phone number to receive a six digit code, which after three attempts I still don’t have a code. Therefore back to Uber. Some companies like to commit commercial self damage. Here is a good example of one. ### 1/5 — Awful app *2022-07-31, version 737* Tried website first, wouldn’t accept payment details, kept saying wrong details.. which they weren’t - tried app instead, won’t get pass first step as doesn’t send a PIN number.. tried, but this is why Uber is winning!! ### 1/5 — 6 digit code…? *2022-07-25, version 737* As a new user the app is supposed to send a 6 digit code but failed to do so for me and another person who tried.. ### 1/5 — Shocking service *2022-07-06, version 737* I pre booked a taxi 4 hours earlier for it not to find me a driver till the time I asked it to already be at the location for the driver to then cancel surely they would have already had me a driver reserved in advance. Never received my money back either from them even though they didn’t even turn up. Whenever I book a taxi it takes to long then when I do get a driver it cancels. On 3rd call to the office I finally got assigned a car (after 2 responses of ‘just 2 minutes away’). But was told ‘can’t get to you for another 20 mins as all cars are at the airport’. I thought that was why people booked days in advance for critical trips. So that the car would be there. When I pointed out that I’d booked ahead via the ap and perhaps a car should have been available, I was told ‘never use the app mate, always call us and then call again in the morning’ Nobody said sorry, apparently it was my fault for trusting the app booking. Arrived at airport late, stressed and had to run through the airport to avoid missing gate closure. Not using the app, or club cars again. ### 1/5 — Not able to use the app at all. *2023-02-03, version 737* Was never able to use the app as I put my number down and never received the code to activate my account.
