The app is great for showing what space is available. However, to pay for your session you still need to phone the DG1 and do this over the phone. Makes the app a bit pointless at this time. Please can the developers of this app fix this bug. ### 1/5 — Online Payment Not Working *2025-08-28, version 109.22* The app could be a great way to book a swimming session. However, the payment option does not work and keeps coming up with “wrong payment amount entered”. This bug/error needs to be fixed as customers are finding it hard to book a space and have to resort to phoning facility directly to pay over the phone. The app support option on the Apple page is invalid and does not work. The council is aware of this issue but I do not see a solution coming anytime soon. ### 1/5 — DG1 Swim *2024-08-04, version 107.46* The app is badly designed, I’ve spent a lot of time on it now and can’t get it to work. There’s no timetable to help with clarity when planning ahead for my family to attend a fun swim while I do lane swimming. I’ve recently learned front crawl due to a hip issue and have found training fins v useful, unfortunately these can’t be used in your pool during lane swimming. Bookings can only be made for specific lanes, however this depends on the ability of others on the day. Sometimes I’m fast, middle or slow lane. Just moved to Dumfries and as a council run facility I’m very disappointed I can’t even see what’s on or swim when I want, even lane swimming nort available no the afternoon? ### 1/5 — Access to information *2024-02-21, version 107.17* This is diabolical - I have tried to use the app and can get absolutely no information at it. It just keeps saying use the app. Rubbish ### 1/5 — Log on as a guest *2022-12-19, version 5.116* Can not log any sessions due to not being a paid up member it would appear. Says I can look and book without being a member, but it appears I can not do either. I guess I’ll get to the pool today and they’ll be no lanes available…. ### 2/5 — App not working *2025-10-27, version 109.40* App initially worked great but then it stop me from seeing my bookings and then I couldn’t cancel my bookings either. I’ve logged out and in and updated app but nothing ### 3/5 — Simple but far from easy on the eyes *2021-06-25, version 5.11* Does what it needs to do. Fact it adds things to your calendar is a nice quality of life feature. The backgrounds need overhauled though. I’ve only used the Ryan Centre section but it’s background being 3-4 images awkwardly placed on top of each other is very distracting, ugly and totally unnecessary. Less is more and a single, solid colour or gradient would go a long way ### 5/5 — DG1 *2022-04-20, version 5.79* Spotlessly clean complex with friendly staff.
