### 2/5 — used to be better

*2023-03-06, version 2.2.1*

I tried to order and it gave me a $50 small order fee for a $12 order… Wtf… this app used to be way more useful, now it’s prices are higher and basically the same as if you were to buy it in store or order on Uber or something . They also don’t disclose the price comparisons like they used to.

### 2/5 — No longer supporting app?

*2022-08-17, version 2.1.9*

The consumer app hasn’t worked for weeks (months?) and the company seems to be rebranding as a corporate catering company. In the meantime, stuck with credits I cannot use, half of which were billed during the period the app/website were non-functional. Support claimed it was getting fixed a few weeks ago (first telling me I could still order via the app even though it had already been broken for weeks) but no evidence of this as of yet.

Edit: Was able to get a refund for unused credits after emailing support so credit for doing right on that but I still find it bizarre there was literally zero communication to this day that the app/product as we knew it ceased to exist.

### 2/5 — Gotten worse

*2022-07-08, version 2.1.7*

The app used to be great when it started out, but if you filter reviews by most recent, you’ll see it’s decline. Unfortunately, the app is buggy and glitches. I couldn’t place an order for the longest time. Options for restaurants to order from have also declined significantly. The app was a good idea and I don’t doubt the developers had big plans for it, but the subscription model doesn’t work if there aren’t good restaurants to order from.

### 1/5 — Horrible experience

*2022-07-07, version 2.1.6*

Horrible customer service. They keep raising prices and lowering service quality. Not worth the headache at all. Extremely hard to cancel plan

### 1/5 — App literally does not work

*2022-07-06, version 2.1.6*

I’ve tried this app when it does work, which is really great but this app has not worked for me over a month. When I try to order something, nothing shows as available. I’ve contacted support twice, and there has been no response in regards to fixing this issue. Who knows what they’re doing.

### 1/5 — Just stopped service

*2022-07-05, version 2.1.6*

Are these guys still in business? I haven’t been able to order anything using the app for two weeks. Not sure if they stopped serving my area or they are out of business. They even charged me for meal credits that I can’t use on the app!!!!

### 2/5 — It’s gotten worse over time

*2022-06-29, version 2.1.4*

Was so good and continent beforehand but after a while the app started to glitch out, the price rose from $7.99-12.99 to now being $13. I can’t order in the same amount and when I try to order for a future date nothing shows up on the main page.

### 1/5 — Scam.

*2022-06-16, version 2.1.3*

They went from offering a wide variety of delivery options (food types and times) to now only a short list available at lunchtime. They’ve canceled several orders and now my last one just never showed up, no refund, nothing. Don’t waste your money.

### 1/5 — Lots of Hidden Fees: Beware

*2022-06-14, version 2.1.3*

The company started off fine & I understand it’s a young company. Earlier the charm was to get delivery at a cheaper price, for the inconvenience of planning your meals. However, with the latest hidden fees and changes you’re likely to save less than $2 with each order & it’s not worth the hassle of the poor UI, slow customer service, and archaic order system.

### 1/5 — Shady delivery service

*2022-05-30, version 2.1.3*

They didn’t deliver, gave me store credit and then stopped servicing my area.

### 2/5 — Payment options not working

*2022-04-27, version 2.1.0*

I love the app and I really want it to work so I can plan my meal for the next day or next week. However it won’t let me proceed to complete my order as the payment isn’t working. Please get it fixed!

### 1/5 — Terrible app and buggy

*2022-04-15, version 2.1.0*

You guys need to hire a better QA. This app is full of bugs.

I downloaded it after friend recommended. Supposedly I get $10 off using a referral code from my friend. Signed up for it and code didn’t work when I entered it during checkout. So that was a lie, but that is ok.

Despite that I thought let me proceed with my order anyways. Trying to checkout with ApplePay, and I get a text with 5 digit verification code. I entered the code and after that virtual keyboard remains on the screen. No way to remove it and proceed further. I tried the whole process 2 more times and got the same result. Eventually I gave up. Yea sure it is couple bucks cheaper than DoorDash, but at least with DoorDash I can place my order without any bugs.

### 1/5 — Buggy much??

*2022-04-09, version 2.0.9*

The app is extremely buggy and rarely provides any restaurants to order from. When it does give options, the app states that an order can’t be made due to technical problems with the restaurant…

Has potential, If you can fix the UI/UX issues.

### 1/5 — Unreliable service

*2022-03-28, version 2.0.8*

You could make an order within specific delivery window but you could get your order 1.5-2+ hours past this window. No tracking nor message support, nothing. You’ll risk your schedule and ruin your day

### 1/5 — one hour late

*2022-03-17, version 2.0.7*

my selected delivery window was 5:45pm-7:15pm and the restaurant didn’t start even after 7:15pm they started my order aroun 7:40ish and I am still waitin for food. Hey when I selected the window I expected they gonna start my order at least 7:00pm.

### 1/5 — Poor customer service after late delivery

*2022-03-14, version 2.0.7*

Wasted my entire lunch time waiting and disputing a “delayed” ordered that support refused to cancel. I asked support to give an updated regarding my order near beginning of delivery window and it took 2 attempted within 50mins. By the time my delivery window(45min) ended they still did not give me an update and when I requested a refund they refused.

### 2/5 — False Pricing

*2022-03-07, version 2.0.5*

Misleading tells you the discounted price but gets charge for another price. Fees too high

### 2/5 — Has Issues

*2022-02-28, version 2.0.4*

While it is a good option for a decent lunch on a budget, I’ve had a few orders that 1) Never arrived 2) Arrived about 20 minutes late 3) Wrong items were delivered. Also, their prices have gone up a TON. Two months ago every meal was $6.99 and now meals avg. $8-$10. Their customer service is pretty good. If prices continue to go up I’ll order somewhere else.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Poor and redundant choice

*2026-07-16, version 3.10*

Very few soy-free & vegetarian options, same choice of food/restaurants coming back 2 or 3 times in <10 days. Trial period was okay, then it degraded quickly. Not many healthy meals overall.

### 1/5 — Stupid and user unfriendly

*2025-01-16, version 3.8*

👎👎👎👎👎🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

### 1/5 — Had $80 worth of credits and Clubfeast stole it from me

*2023-05-04, version 2.2.3*

My account had $80 worth of credits and Clubfeast just removed it off my account without notifying me whatsoever. App has high fees too and the app is not honest at all. Why steal from your customers.

### 1/5 — Absolute worst

*2023-02-19, version 2.2.1*

There are never any restaurants available when I check the app and I’ve had 15 credits that've just been sitting there for months now. I’ve tried contacting customer support countless times, but that’s just as useless as this app. I’ve tried asking for a refund for my credits since I can’t use them, but of course that’s a no go as well. Absolutely ridiculous. Don’t waste your money.

### 1/5 — They took my money and there’s no meals to choose from in any area

*2022-12-10, version 2.2.0*

1.You get what you pay for. 40% off also means 40% of the portion is gone. 2. And now the app is broken, I updated it and restarted it many times. There’s no restaurants displaying to choose from in any areas. Contacted support and no response.

### 1/5 — Just lunch?

*2022-11-20, version 2.2.0*

I’m lost on if this company is trying to rebrand as a work lunch drop off because dinner is no longer an option. Perhaps only in SF? Is this app a way for people in SF to eat? It was great when it started but since then I’ve seen so many restaurants leave, options taken away, the app/site never updated to actually make it easier to use. Seems like the creativity and ability to move forward isn’t happening.

### 1/5 — Small order fee of $20 for every order under $100

*2022-10-24, version 2.2.0*

Not worth it at all

### 1/5 — Total scam

*2022-07-16, version 2.1.7*

The app and website do not work. The only thing they can manage to do is take your money by automatically billing your card. Other than that, nothing works. The app is no longer showing any meals available any day of the week. This company is doomed.

### 1/5 — Company broke? Hustling?

*2022-07-12, version 2.1.7*

I haven’t been able to order from clubfeast for months but they take my money every week like clockwork. I’ve tried the website, email and now the app and there is no ability to order food. Do not recommend: AVOID.

### 1/5 — Insane Fees

*2022-07-09, version 2.1.7*

Prices look amazing but there’s a $10 fee for anything under $100 which is absurd. I wanted two burritos (subtotal was $16) and after the small order fee, 18% fee and tax, it was over $30 before I even tipped. JOKE.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Too good!!

*2022-11-07, version 2.2.0*

I love using ClubFeast, it makes my weekdays so much more smooth because ordering and delivery is always easy and prompt. I love getting to try new dishes from the area for lunch and have gotten the chance to branch out to other cuisines so much easier. Definitely worth a try!

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2022-07-18, version 2.1.7*

Easy to use, lots of variety, reliable, and my new first choice for lunch deliveries!!!

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2022-02-17, version 1.9.7*

Amazing app.

### 5/5 — Better than DoorDash

*2022-02-08, version 1.9.7*

This is better than DoorDash when you need meals consistently. Cost wise much cheaper and logistically for restaurants so they can prepare in advance.

### 5/5 — UI is trash

*2022-02-01, version 1.9.6*

The UI and constant errors of "cannot read property null" make this app unusable. And the price totals never make sense. Try ordering something for $6.99 with $1.50 delivery and $1 tip and get charged $11 makes no sense, right?!

### 5/5 — The future of lunch while wfh

*2022-01-28, version 1.9.6*

So good, my partner & I both wfh, this os great to take away stress from food preparation

### 5/5 — Taylor Hobbs’ Incredible customer service

*2022-01-20, version 1.9.4*

Taylor Hobbs was incredibly helpful in helping me get started on the app. She deserves a raise today!

### 5/5 — Incredible, couldn't recommend enough

*2022-01-15, version 1.9.2*

Wow gone are the days of paying $20 for a lukewarm meal that takes forever to arrive.

Used this for the first time and it's tremendously affordable, easy to use, food comes fast and fresh, tons of options. It perfectly fits my use case of knowing I don't have food in the fridge the day before so I know ahead time I need to order something for the next day's lunch or dinner.

There are some useability issues in my opinion but no dealbreakers for me. For example,

* I wish I could search by individual restaurants instead of by dishes from restaurants. Its a bit of a hassle trying to parse through all the different options.

* the scrolling is a little laggy. Sometimes you start in the middle of the page

* the dietary restriction symbols cover the name of the restaurant in the UI

### 5/5 — Lots of potential.

*2021-12-15*

The selection is good and they are much cheaper than UberEats and DoorDash. However the app needs work. For example, if you open a chat with the support staff, it disconnects if you exit the app or switch to another app. This is not 1999. The session should stay open in the background regardless of what I am doing.

That being said the idea of ClubFeast is amazing.
I want them to be successful because the mainstream delivery apps are ripoffs. ClubFeast is the only one out there trying to minimize costs for the consumer.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your review and your feedback. We are actively working to improve our app experience and appreciate the feedback! We are glad you are enjoying the platform and using it to save money while supporting local restaurants!

### 5/5 — Good food, solid service

*2021-12-13*

I started using club feast about a month ago because I saw just salad. I like to have a salad for lunch most days, but it was ridiculous how much I was paying to get one delivered with other food delivery apps. Like it literally cost more to get one salad delivered than what groceries for the whole week could have been.

During the work week, I’m pretty busy, but it just didn’t feel right paying so much for a salad. Low and behold, my friend referred me to club feast and boom. Sure, I could order from a few more places, in other apps, but the peace of mind of knowing I have a healthy lunch coming each day and that I don’t have to feel guilty about the price is so worth it.

To be clear, my first order was delivered outside my time window which sucked. Their customer service team was very helpful and so I gave them another shot. Second time was solid. It was until my third time that it clicked, when I realized how much I was saving that week and the food just showed up (crazy day of work and I honestly would have forgotten to eat otherwise)

Overall, I like the food and appreciate that they’re going through some growing pains. Oh and the price is the best!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your review - glad you are saving money using Club Feast!
