### 1/5 — Bad App

*2021-04-13*

App does not allow me to log in. I have tried everything but it’s hopeless. And there is no one to contact to get help. The app is useless to me.

### 1/5 — One of the Worst Apps Ever Created

*2020-07-25*

If you want an app that crashes and glitches consistently, and hasn’t been updated in the half year our club has been using it, well then this is the app for you. I’ve used the app for about 30-40 loops so far this year, and I’d say about 10-15 loops have ran smoothly. I’ve seen bugs/glitches on both the caddie interface and the member interface as well. Overall, just a horrible app.

### 1/5 — Bug

*2019-06-18*

There’s no sign up tab on the front page, makes it impossible to make an account

### 1/5 — Problems with notifications

*2026-06-08*

This is an amazing app at a first glance because you don’t need to sit at a club waiting for a change to have a loop. The idea is there but it just does not notify you when you have a loop. I have checked all of my notification settings and they are all perfect but somehow it only gives a notification 1/3 of the time.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2026-05-10*

This app is terrible. You sign up and it does not recognize any of your information. Good luck resetting a password or finding customer service.

### 1/5 — Allows for Daddy Caddies

*2025-07-23*

Has completely ruined our caddy program. The hardest part about caddying now at our club is sitting on the app at night constantly refreshing this broken app just to compete with a members son to get a loop. Also no problem with being reviewed, but if I am, please explain why I got the review I did. Secondly, would be AMAZING to review the golfer! If the golfer is a bad tipper, rude, or maybe a generally good person that would be a great addition rather than one way, anonymous, and unexplained reviews. BRING BACK THE CADDY YARD. SHOW UP EARLY AND GET A LOOP NO MORE APPS.

### 1/5 — God Awful App

*2025-07-13*

I won’t recommend this app to any club wanting to use it. No warning when loops will be given out. I have to be alone and avoid people in order to get a loop. Once you click on a loop it doesn’t save it for you to allow you to see the actual loop. These preferred invitations are its only saving grace. The rating for each caddy needs to have an explanation as to why they were rated a particular number. I am a 4.7 and I want to know what I did wrong so I can improve. Do not get this app

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2024-07-30*

Going into edit profile takes me to a completely blank browser

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2024-06-02*

What an amazingly terrible app. The concept is good but this is a piece of programming junk.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work 90% of time

*2024-05-16*

Loops either don’t come in at all or show up late. Super stressful and frustrating. Hoping our club switches to a better app or goes back to a regular caddie yard.

### 1/5 — Glitchy and Frustrating

*2024-03-01*

App is glitchy and not all features work for every person. Watch app is nice but does not work for multiple courses, IE, it always says your loop is at the same course no matter where it is. Cancel feature didn’t work for me. Developers launching it at courses they’re managing so little emphasis on improving it.

### 1/5 — Destroyed the essence of being a caddy.

*2023-06-29*

The app destroys relationships on the course from forming and continuing. Terrible for newcomers. Horrible app that doesn’t even send alerts for loops!!!

### 1/5 — Way to ruin caddying

*2022-04-03*

Another pure profession ruined by technology and modern day greed. Get a job like everyone else instead of stealing from hard working caddies (many of whom are young kids). I hope you sleep well at night clubup creators and advocates. You should be ashamed!

### 5/5 — Notifications

*2024-12-02*

This is obviously a designed by people who are making money off of Caddie’s for basically from working at home and doing data entry on a laptop ….
its very disconnected with the actual one on one interactions between players and caddies there are no protections for a caddy. The average caddy makes just under $300 for 18 holes.carrying two bags. That’s $120 plus tip
And around
$280 for a forecaddie round that’s
$50 per player plus tip
However agency’s are taking a substantial portion of what a caddie earns and doesn’t offer workers comp or protection and leaves the caddies open to substantial tax problems and issues it’s a very disappointing experience for everyone but the guy behind the computer making free money for basically playing a video game that plays with a caddies livelihood….
For hundreds of years caddies have gone unprotected when it comes to benefits, retirement, and healthcare and this just gives the appearance that is doing something for the actual caddies when it is not at all
Remember, the people that can afford caddies are members at Clubs where it cost a substantial amount of money to join usually a person who is a member of a club that could afford to take a caddy will probably have to never work a day for the rest of their lives, but as soon as the caddy is too old or injured to do the job anymore, he ends up having nothing left and is the closest thing to being a homeless person out of any occupation as they can be thrown aside
For a younger person this is never more evident then when the hoax of the Caddie scholarship programs comes into consideration as it gives mostly sons of members who already have their college tuition paid for via trust funds, and other things just the token look or appearance that they show up a couple of days in the summer and receive thousands of dollars that they do not need while underprivileged or minority caddies never have a chance to be considered in these programs because they do not qualify
As they are not college material

### 5/5 — Customer service

*2022-01-03*

I had a hard signing in and they helped tremendously in helping me get back in! Thank you Ian!

### 5/5 — Helpful

*2020-12-26*

Makes cashing out a breeze. Don’t have to worry about losing a ticket.

### 5/5 — Great and innovative

*2020-07-08*

Club Up has consistently been a helpful resource for me personally. Their staff is incredibly helpful, the slick look of the interface provides me with a professional experience, and the ease of finding a well qualified caddie has been remarkable. 6 stars would be more appropriate!

### 4/5 — East to use

*2023-03-09*

Notifications are buggy and not in chronological order

### 4/5 — Good, with a few minor annoyances

*2021-07-04*

This is overall a good app. However, there are a few quality-of-life issues that make using it a tad annoying.

-There is no obvious tutorial, and since the availability calendar is a little unintuitive, it can take a while to figure it out.

-The calendar itself is a bit hard to use, and when you scroll down to later days, you can’t see the times.

-The logout process is instant and does not ask if you really do want to log out, meaning if you accidentally click the button (which is completely unlabeled), you have to enter your email and password all over again.

Overall, this is a nice tool, but it does have some imperfections.

### 3/5 — Cancelled Loop

*2026-05-17*

Every time caddies claim a loop on this app, it cancels. The staff members even say this bug has been happening and it needs to be fixed.

### 3/5 — Update

*2024-01-18*

App would be great if it was updated for newer iPhone models. App layout doesn’t fit screen of iPhone 15 model. Please update it

### 3/5 — Not bad for it’s first year

*2020-12-02*

Definitely flawed but not terrible. Especially since this is it’s first year being implemented it wasn’t terrible terrible.

### 2/5 — Unreliable

*2026-05-24*

Push notifications, which are essential to an app attempting to accomplish what this sets out to do, are unreliable. Yes, I have my phone set up to allow push notifications, specifically for this app and others. But do I get them? Nope.
