It’s so convenient when traveling to pull up a quick search for nearby boxes. I also like the save feature so you can download the clues for later viewing in an area where you know there won’t be cell service. This is a big annoyance for me. 2) I wish there was an option to move pins around on my own personal map. For example, if the box location is only as specific as a town, but I know it's in a certain park, I could move the pin to the park on the map so that in the future I know where that box is. Instead, I get less than 1/8 of all area letterboxes. Wasted $5 I could’ve put toward more ink. **Developer response:** I am sorry Clue Tracker is not showing all of the boxes you expect to see. Usually that happens because Atlas Quest limits how many boxes can be returned to apps like Clue Tracker. Please fix ### 1/5 — Useless to United Kingdom LetterBoxers *2017-03-24* Dartmoor has hundreds of thousand letterboxes if not more. Through different searches, founf 7 or 8. As mentioned in the app description, Clue Tracker provides access to clues that are hosted on the Atlas Quest and LbNA (letterboxing.org) websites. Unfortunately, most of the Dartmoor letterboxes are not listed on those sites. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2015-08-02, version 3.6* Got the app and have tried unsuccessfully to find three different boxes with my children. Very disappointed. ### 1/5 — WASTE OF MONEY *2010-12-27, version 1.5* The only reason I bought this app was that it looked like it merged both LBNA and Atlas sites into one easy to use app. Nope. While offering me both sites in the menu, it only allows me to use the LBNA option, saying that "this version ... does not support Atlas". WTF? Save your $$$ for an app that does what it says it will do and just use your browser to search for boxes. ### 2/5 — Login problems *2026-04-06* I hadn’t used the app in a long time. Now I’m trying to use it and it’s asking for my trail name and password. I can’t remember them but it doesn’t give me a reset option **Developer response:** I am sorry you are experiencing this problem! You can do many things in Clue Tracker without being logged in, but it is better to log in. The trail name and passwords are managed by the letterboxing websites: atlasquest.com and letterboxing.org. Because our app is independent of those websites the app cannot allow you to create or manage accounts. You will need to use a web browser to access one or both of those websites in order to reset your password. ### 2/5 — Could use an update.. *2022-01-02* The app works better than trying to navigate 2 separate websites.. However not all the letter boxes are showing up in my radius. The app only pulls up half the Cloud Atlas letterboxes in my town when the website shows them all. Kinda disappointing when you have to pay for this app. I have to use the website just to see the ones I might miss. **Developer response:** Thank you for purchasing the app and for your review. Unfortunately, Atlas Quest limits the number of boxes that apps like Clue Tracker can retrieve with one search. If Clue Tracker tells you that Atlas Quest returned its maximum, then you will need to search again using a smaller search radius. I definitely would not be out as much if I didn’t have access to this app. My favorite is the map feature. I love being able to see where the boxes are compared to where I am located. I don’t pay for premium on AQ and saw the map on there yesterday from someone who does and that map was confusing!!
