## What is Clueless Crossword Puzzles?

Clueless is a crossword puzzle game where there are no clues. Using just the starting and ending letters shown, it's up to you to figure out what letters go in the middle to make valid words reading across and down.

You might be thinking "How would I solve this?" The first couple of puzzles might make you scratch your head. But you'll figure out some strategies and be cruising in no time. It's the best feeling when you solve a hard one.

Clueless has easier and harder options.  A puzzle with lots of letters shown might only take you a minute, while a puzzle with only one or two letters at the ends might take you 10 minutes or more.

Clueless is ad-supported.  You can create 10 puzzles without ads to see if you like it, and then ads will start showing up.  If you're fine with ads, keep on playing!  If you'd prefer the ad-free experience, you can buy a one-time in-app purchase to remove the ads forever.

I have an iPhone, relatively new, always up to date with software and app updates. 

This app drives me crazy. I cannot type in a word with any normal speed. Each letter I touch can take up to 3-4 seconds to “enlarge” so you know you’ve chosen the correct letter. 

Can anyone help me fix this? I’ve been really frustrated by how much slower my times are than what they really could be. Thanks!

When I get to enter the final letter the app quits on me, even when updated. Also I’ve had solutions that work and are legitimate words and get the message “not quite”. Frustrating. But when the app works I really enjoy the concept of these puzzles.

The solution to the puzzle MUST be their solution. Even if you find an alternate solution in which all the words are legitimate, the app will not accept it.  That’s lousy.

Some of the words aren’t valid words! It’s like the dev thinks you can add an S to anything. Two examples from my last two games: drivings, earnests. These are not words.

I’m afraid I spend way too much time playing this. Only minor concern is that some windows (info and word definition) don’t stay open long enough to read. They just appear for a brief second and then disappear—at least on my iPad Air 4. However this glitch does little to diminish my enjoyment of the app.

Some of the words are really obscure, eg “beeves”. It would be nice to have the ability to check whether a letter square is correctly filled so that you can move past these head-scratching words.
