Use CLWRota for iPhone to connect to your anaesthetic department's live rota from anywhere. This secure app provides up to date views of your personal rota and leave diary, as well as allowing you to directly book and manage your leave on your smartphone. You can see rota information both by location or person, filtered to the groups of your choice, and see all of the department's on-call rotas. Getting in touch with your colleagues is easy - simply tap the 'Call' link displayed next to their name. Our newly integrated rota mapping service allows you to connect to other departments using Rotamap services, such as Medirota, within your trust - giving a live view of the other people working with you from those departments in those sessions. Uncovered sessions can be offered out by the rota coordinators, and you can request to work these sessions with the new 'Bids' feature. The built-in messaging service allows you to communicate directly with your department rota administrators. At least for the iPhone. One would not get messages or sometimes notifications would work and other times they would not. This is unfortunately puts a large burden and affects personal and departmental time management ### 2/5 — Notification issue *2025-01-12, version 7.1.5* There is significant issue with app which appeared few months ago. Despite proper settings on iPhone it does not send any notifications, not even about urgent messeges. When it first came out it was a game changer - particularly as our two hospitals had merged. It is really useful to be able to see where colleagues are without searching several printed sheets in the department- which were frequently out of date. However, it really feels like CLW have made no progress with the app or API. My biggest gripe is that there is no iCal feed to populate your own diary. Most anaesthetists use electronic diaries for and this is a huge missing bit of functionality which makes having to check the app a daily annoyance. ### 5/5 — Great app *2020-09-29, version 4.5.22* This works really well with the service, even including offline access which is useful for hospital signal blackspots.
