Please contact support@rotamap.net for further support and advice. ### 2/5 — A bit rubbish *2019-07-07* Why does your leave always have to show everything you’ve cancelled- makes it so difficult to see what has been booked... ### 2/5 — Useless *2016-10-18* The "stay logged in" option does not work. Extremely irritating to have to log in every few minutes, when co-ordinating in theatre. Frequently, it only displays the first two theatres, and doesn't load the others until the app is closed down and restarted. It also does not keep info offline, so in theatres where mobile signal is absent, it is also impossible to access the day's allocations. It's good that it's now possible to check leave, and that contact phone numbers can now be accessed, but these need to be available as an "offline" mode ### 2/5 — Crashes frequently *2016-07-02* Can't handle rapid scrolling. Needs stability improvements. I've had to resort to the web app in the meantime and saving this to my home screen. It freezes almost everytime I use it and I've to remove it from the running programmes list and restart it. Couple of frames down the line it would freeze again. I'm using web version more and more even on iPhone which is a shame. It has been happening for a long time and the vendor hadn't made any effort to fix it at all. They need to work harder, a lot harder. Problem is that users of the app are not the purchasers of their service (which usually is the hospital), so why would they even bother. Look at the last app update; Feb 2011. Whilst once upon a time it was fresh, innovative and a game changer for rota management and end users to ascertain their patterns it has seen little progress since the early days. As noted, this version is broken folks! However, As stated in other reviews of this current version it does not allow you to go past the first page. My ultimate version would include a personal subscribable iCal and an iOS “Today” widget so fingers crossed for the next update… ### 5/5 — StR Anaesthetics *2012-01-01* Brilliant app, everything at your finger tips , addresses the key requirements with separate buttons without having to browse the entire rota. It is fast and formats the information is an easy to read layout. Excellent. ### 4/5 — iPhone 5 compatibility please *2014-07-03* Beautiful app but needs to be iPhone 5 compatible. ### 3/5 — Useful app but needs iCal integration *2021-05-13* Our department has used CLW for many years. When it first came out it was a game changer - particularly as our two hospitals had merged. It is really useful to be able to see where colleagues are without searching several printed sheets in the department- which were frequently out of date. However, it really feels like CLW have made no progress with the app or API. My biggest gripe is that there is no iCal feed to populate your own diary. Most anaesthetists use electronic diaries for and this is a huge missing bit of functionality which makes having to check the app a daily annoyance. **Developer response:** Thank you for your comments. That will let you access two rotas together without having to log in again. Hope this helps, Peter ### 3/5 — Not working on iPhone 6 *2014-10-28* Still working on my iPad (iOS 8) but won't even open on my iPhone. Is there a fix coming? ### 3/5 — OK *2014-10-13* Firstly, hasn't been updated for at least 3 years so appears to be optimised for an iPhone 4....we're now 4 generations on with the 6 and it looks terribly outdated on this. Secondly, works but is very late at syncing. As an example, the office makes a change to the rota on Friday evening, but the iPhone app doesn't appear to update and reflect that change till Monday afternoon. I've been caught out a few times with this and have been told that it happens quite a bit in the department. It should be easy to implement push notifications such that this doesn't happen so I'm not sure why the devs can't do it, but until they optimise the syncing to server, it only merits 3 stars ### 2/5 — Only partially works *2025-06-05* Despite being on the market app is still bugged. At least for the iPhone. One would not get messages or sometimes notifications would work and other times they would not. This is unfortunately puts a large burden and affects personal and departmental time management ### 2/5 — Notification issue *2025-01-12* There is significant issue with app which appeared few months ago. Despite proper settings on iPhone it does not send any notifications, not even about urgent messeges.
