### 3/5 — Pretty sweet just buggy

*2026-06-29, version 10.4.3*

Half the time trying to scan barcodes I have to add them to my collection to start scanning again

### 5/5 — 10/10

*2026-06-14, version 10.4.3*

Amazing app

### 5/5 — Works very well

*2026-05-05*

The app is easy to navigate and very user friendly. Works very well and catalogs all of my game library efficiently.

### 5/5 — A must for video Game Collector

*2026-04-14*

I was looking for a simple to use application that would be able scan barcodes from my European Japanese and Us games. Most of other applications do one or the other. With Clz I find games from all continent / console / version (deluxe / collector / standard) et variants. Add to that the cloud save. Really a must. Wouldn’t change from app for any other and trust me I tried plenty.

### 5/5 — Perfect !

*2026-03-25*

Perfect with connected real time pricing. Constantly being improved.

### 5/5 — Awesome App!!

*2026-03-24, version 10.2.5*

Love this app. I’ve tried so many different apps, but this is the one I stopped at and stopped using the others. Love the layout, the options, and most of all the ease of use! I am 54 with thousands of games in my collection! I have tested it, used it, and highly recommend it!

### 5/5 — Fantastic App

*2026-03-24*

I have a fairly large and diverse game collection and I choose to use CLZ Games app because it finds almost everything I add, even the odd 80s stuff or wacky Japanese imports, it integrates PriceCharting values into each game, has cover art, nice sorting, barcode reading for quick scanning and a ton more. Plus it’s well supported. I don’t mind paying for a subscription if it means the app is continually getting updates as our smartphones evolve. Highly recommended

### 5/5 — I don’t know what I’d do without it.

*2026-03-24*

I absolutely love CLZ games. I use it every day to catalogue my collection, look up prices and search for info. The fact that I can not only catalogue games but also hardware such as consoles and computers but also figures such as Disney infinity and Skylanders etc. is a massive bonus.

Adding games is a breeze, especially with the barcode scanner option. I’ve tried other apps but this has been the best one for me.

### 2/5 — Greedy

*2026-03-22, version 10.2.5*

“Grandfathered in” can’t look up game prices or add new games, even manually, without prompts stating this now requires a subscription. Dev essentially had me pay for a spreadsheet application.

Used to be a fantastic app, now wants $20 a year

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-02-17*

I’ve recently been adding to my retro gaming collection and needed a way of keeping track of what I had. This app is amazing. Easy to use, well laid out and a pleasure to interact with. I totally recommend this app to anyone who wants to have a detailed list of their collection.

### 5/5 — Great for Physical Games collectors !

*2026-02-07*

The app is very features complete with one that was the many selling point for me : the possibility to scan the barcodes to identify precisely which versions of the videogames I owned.

Through their financial features I can also keep track of the estimated values of each of my game catalog, those 2 features make it a no brainer for me to use.

Would very much recommend !

### 5/5 — Fantastic-Functional-Fair Subscription and Full extensive library

*2026-02-04*

With so myself owning so many games from such systems as PS1, through to PS5 along with Steam, this app is very helpful. It is laid out very well, allows excellent modification to categories and has an extensive library. If you have thousands of games this helps in keeping track of what you actually own, which stops duplication purchases. This app
Is thoughtfully designed by the developers and with a fair low cost subscription I cannot recommend this app highly enough. Absolutely a must have for true gamers, love it.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-01-21, version 10.2.3*

Great app. I recommend it.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-01-15, version 10.2.2*

Great app. I recommend it.

### 4/5 — Excellent Database App

*2026-01-15, version 10.2.2*

Simple to use features. And a significant tool for managing larger collections. Various ways to sort, view. Worth every penny for me.

### 5/5 — The Best Option for Collectors

*2026-01-15, version 10.2.2*

I’ve tried multiple different methods for trying to catalog my game collection in the past, and CLZ is by far the best. Frequently updated, easy to use, and awesome support. I am a strong believer in paying for apps that give you a useful service and this is worth every penny!

### 5/5 — The best video game app

*2026-01-15*

This is b my far the best app when it comes to video game collecting. It has everything you need to be able to catalogue, check values in real time, and edit or add as much info to your collection as needed. There are no apps on the store that provide as many features. The developers are very responsible and helpful as well.

### 5/5 — Excellent!

*2026-01-09*

Like all CLZ offerings (I use four different products), this app is top notch. The customization features and support team especially stand out as spectacular.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Nur Geldmacheri

*2026-08-14*

**Developer response:** If you have purchased the app before it became subscription app, you have of course been grandfathered into a FREE life-time app unlock. You do not need to pay for the subscription.
If this did not happen for you automatically, please contact us through help.clz.com and we'll help you unlock the app ASAP, free of charge.

### 1/5 — Mandatory Subscription

*2026-07-13*

I was interested in trying CLZ Games, but the mandatory subscription requirement before I could properly test the app was an immediate dealbreaker.

I understand developers need to make money, but users should at least get a chance to explore the app’s core features before being asked to commit to a subscription. Requiring a subscription upfront makes it hard to judge whether the app is worth paying for.

I uninstalled it and moved on to another option. A proper free trial or limited free version would have made a much better first impression.

**Developer response:** The app offers a free 7 day trial that lets you try all features before committing to the subscription.

### 1/5 — How did this update get past testing

*2025-11-29, version 10.2.1*

The latest update makes search useless. Just did a search on Control that I have 3 copies and it returns 220 games. Same goes for just about anything else I search.

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2025-11-10, version 10.1.3*

I have scanned my collection of Nintendo Switch three times with this app and it gets stuck not updating the list even though it is syncing on their cloud
I have scanned 1400 games, the app show 1100 with prices for 1100 games. Their cloud shows all 1400 games with prices for just 1100.
I have done this three times sometimes gets stuck a 260 games. I am giving up on this app

### 1/5 — 1 Star

*2025-07-12, version 10.0.3*

This app constantly interrupted what I was doing to ask me for a rating, so here you go. My rating reflects those interruptions.

**Developer response:** I am sorry to hear about those problems. We answer to all support emails everyday. Maybe our answer ended up in your spam folder?
Please contact us again, I am sure we can help you!

### 1/5 — Pfff

*2024-10-09*

Faire payer pour ça , une honte

### 1/5 — Barcode selects wrong game and value

*2024-05-27, version 9.0.5*

I scanned “sonic the hedgehog” [not for resale] Sega barcode. I have box and game cart only. It doesn’t adjust value with no manual and keeps showing as CIB value. Also, it showing the wrong pricechrating ID which is a completely different value.

I’ve only tried a couple games on this app - but for a paid subscription this is not up to par in my opinion.

App looks great though just not worth the money if it’s not going to price things correctly.

### 1/5 — A subscription that locks you in

*2024-03-22*

I just don’t get this subscription stupidity.

Why can we not just pay a one off amount as I don’t want my collection list to be held to ransom, forcing me to pay each and every month/year.

You don’t even offer a free tier that gives basic functionality (I wouldn’t even mind ads). I don’t care about a 7 day trial. I just want a tool that can store my collection and then optionally can provide premium features if I choose to

**Developer response:** Hi TheRedPill, thanks for your feedback. This "subscription stupidity" is necessary to finance all the work our 12-man team is doing to keep our online database up-to-date with alll new releases and to continuously improve the app, the cloud system, our Core search engine, etc... With a one-time payment only, this would never be possible.
Also, we don't "hold your list ransom". You can always export your list, at any time, even after your subscription has expired. We are not "forcing" you to pay.

### 1/5 — Tolle App Abo macht alles kaputt

*2024-02-28*

Die App ist Mega und würde sie sogar einmalig kaufen! Dieser Abo Müll in den Apps macht direkt von 5 Sternen wieder zurück auf einen !

**Developer response:** I am sorry to hear that. The "Abo" is what allows us to make such a "Mega" app, do you realize that?
In other words, without the "Abo" we would not be able to pay for he manpower to create such a good app and such a good online game database.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome App

*2026-07-30, version 11.0.4*

This is by far my favorite app. It is great to have my collection on my iphone and the search is great for finding games in a hurry. This app works great on my iPad, iPhone, and Mac. By far the best app for keeping track of games.

### 5/5 — Great App For Managing Your Collection

*2026-07-24*

I’ve been an avid user for 3 years now and am very happy with the app, which is regularly updated, and data is fed into it via its community, including me. I tried to use many other apps in the past and ultimately abandoned them. This app is by far the easiest to use out of all the apps I’ve tried thus far. The interface is simple to understand and very comprehensive offering reports by genre, year, platform and so on.

### 5/5 — Essential app for serious game collectors

*2026-07-22, version 11.0.4*

I’ve been using CLZ Games for a couple of years and it just gets better and better. It’s an essential app for any games collector and it’s super easy to use. Games can be added by title, by scanning the bar code on the box or even manually.

The developers regularly add in other features and are quick to respond to any queries or issues.

The latest update has added the ability to add your own custom data fields which makes the app even more flexible than before. I’ve now added data fields that help manage my (very) retro cassette collection.

### 5/5 — Best video game organizer

*2026-07-17, version 11.0.2*

I love this app, if you need to have a list of video game prices and organizations, don’t think twice!

### 5/5 — Good can be better

*2026-07-13, version 10.4.3*

Some games like doom you have crazy prices for edition that are not a standard edition so barcodes not right. Also games that aren’t in the system so many

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2026-07-01, version 10.4.3*

I have been using this app now for a year. I am disorganized as a person, however my game collection is very neat

### 5/5 — Oraganize

*2026-06-30, version 10.4.3*

The best app to organize for games if you have a huge collection

### 5/5 — Hands down the best cataloging app out there!!

*2026-06-28, version 10.4.3*

Fantastic app for cataloging games. Well worth the purchase!!

### 5/5 — Parfait

*2026-06-21*

Parfait pour les collectionneurs, seul défaut c’est qu’il n’y a pas le français.

### 5/5 — A MUST HAVE

*2026-06-18, version 10.4.3*

This app is a must have for any gamer. This helps keep me informed of what I have and the value. If there is any sort of catastrophic event I have a list for the insurance company.
