## What is Cmdora?

Cmdora turns your iPhone into a remote control for your Mac development environment. Run AI coding tasks, trigger builds, tail logs, and approve changes without opening your laptop.

Built for iOS developers and engineers who want a compact control surface for their projects, terminal commands, and automation when they are away from the desk.

Key capabilities:
- Run AI coding tasks (Codex CLI) - the agent proposes changes, nothing is applied without your explicit approval
- Get push notifications when a task finishes, fails, or needs your approval
- Trigger build and automation tasks
- Stream task logs and status updates
- Keep your Mac awake while you work - and get notified when it goes on battery
- Manage secure remote connections and project workspaces
- Keep detailed errors visible when something fails

AI tasks require the Codex CLI installed on your Mac. Terminal, builds, and everything else work without it.

Cmdora works with a companion coordinator and secure remote runtime. The runtime executes the shell commands and automation scripts you configure on your own development machine.

Add the server URL, remote id, and access token in the app to connect your iPhone to your environment.

AI coding tasks with approval flow: start a Codex task from your phone, review the proposed changes, approve or reject - nothing touches your files without your explicit approval.

Push notifications: know when a task finishes, fails, needs your approval, or your Mac goes offline or on battery.

Keep Awake: your Mac stays awake while you work and tells you when it switches to battery.

Plus: any project folder can now be a workspace (not just Xcode projects), improved connection reliability, and approval state that survives restarts.
