Then informed after the fact that they were refunding me. To further see months later they offered said asset at higher prices but I never got to participate. To have front row seats to their training - as well as performances - really unlocks a whole new emotional connection and appreciation to being a fan of the sport. As a fairly casual & passive fan, receiving notifications of their competition, behind the scenes of their training and preparation, and even visibility into the upcoming season of events helps me feel more like I am right there in the owners/sponsors box. Purchasing of shares was seamless and intuitive, and within a few weeks I had a portfolio of athletes to follow! I have a share and shares in a couple of their horses who have won or been in the money and I’m not seeing one dime of my earnings from ownership in those shares. I get a message about what my shares will earn if my horse finishes 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, but where that money goes, I don’t know.
