(iPad Pro 2018 iOS 18) ### 2/5 — Rubbish *2023-04-19* Doesn't open videos taken on iPad. It shows them in the history but won’t open or play them. Assez déçu. ### 2/5 — Any updates? *2019-07-20* It has been a year since v5. What are the plans for CMV? Had to drop a star because the developer seems to have stopped working on the product. There is a big bug where the app never sees video that is Apple synced from one device to another. Take a video on your phone then let it sync to your iPad through the photo app. Then on your iPad play the video in Photos. Then open CMV on your iPad and you can’t find the video. ### 3/5 — Can’t remove their logo *2019-06-04* Can’t remove their watermark logo even in the paid version. It is so annoying but it is always there. Also it saves with screen writing on the image what a shame. The functionality is great, it’s relatively simple to use and the price is outstanding. I use it for ski racing and the side by side evaluations with a timer are invaluable. Sweet! *2017-10-21* On my iPhone 6S+, I'm loving this app!! Plus these iFrame-only modes make for large file-sizes but also the video scrubber is VERY responsive: this makes up for the slower processor of my older iPads, such as the iPad 2 or the original Mini. And since I don't need to save the files in my IPad for long, the large file-size is no problem. And for the Email+ sharing, thus app gives me lots of compression options before I delete those large files. Those recording modes are also great for use with video-editor apps. I have not seen this capability on any other video recorder before! ### 5/5 — Best video app! Forced to upgrade to the pro version at $10. Cost isn’t a bid deal other than the fact the app cannot open a video file, cannot record a video file, and therefore is of no use. It’s in no uncertain terms an outdated user interface without no functionality whatsoever. I’d like my money back from the developer - money grab and theft if you ask me! The ability to zoom in on video and step at tiny factions of a second allow for very precise timing. We do free fall and projectile discovery labs and get excellent data in a fraction of the time when compared to ticker timers or stopwatches.
