UI is very dated, and some UI elements overlap with each other. Kind of unpolished. Frame by frame playback works well with slow motion clips. Zoom function works well. Video markup features work well. If I could mute audio, 4 stars. If UI was better, 5. ### 1/5 — Not working *2021-08-15, version 4.4* Not working from existing clips for me ### 2/5 — They had a great Windows program… but now, not competitive *2021-05-06, version 4.4* CMV video used to have a great Windows version/program where you could use 3 screens in the program. This allowed the coach/analyzer to put up a ‘Before’ video (say, on the Left) a video of a person/pro with good technique in the middle, then the person’s ‘After’ technique on the Right. So it was easy to show the student how much improvement they had made/were making. But CMVs program in the ‘Side-by-side’ analysis arena is not even close. CoachesEye seems to be the best program for the time being in this arena. But I’m rooting for CMV. ### 4/5 — Only app with frame by frame time code timings *2020-12-26, version 4.4* If only it didn’t crash and become unresponsive after a few uses.... I have to uninstall it and reinstall it in order to use it again.. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work anymore *2020-07-26, version 4.4* I have had this app for years and it worked fine until recently when I opened up the app and when I try to select an option, it doesn’t do anything. It’ll work if I delete the app and reinstall it, but it only works until I close the app out and then I have the same problem again when I try to open it again. The farthest I get is the page where I can choose to record, except it freezes. I can’t seem to get anything to work. I’m SO disappointed! ### 1/5 — Right idea poor execution *2020-02-23, version 4.4* With iOS 13 this thing is toast. The developers seem unable or unwilling to support it. Nice GUI but very unreliable on court. Hit or miss on saving longer videos (hi res >15 minutes). Very frustrating. Have corresponded with the developers and they seem unable to fix. These guys have stumbled so there is a clear revenue opportunity for a better capitalized company to take over. I would pay more for a reliable video recording and playback software with the advertised capabilities that actually works consistently. Adobe? You reading this? ### 3/5 — Was Great, now not so *2019-12-19, version 4.4* I’ve been using this for a long time and it’s been fantastic, however it’s developed a glitch recently preventing me from leaving the app and reentering. I now have to delete it from my iPad and reload it for it to work a 2nd time. This is painful. However, once loaded, it’s fabulous.
