## What is CNA Skills Test Trainer?

Practice the hands-on part of your CNA certification exam, one step at a time.

CNA Skills Test Trainer follows the published skills checklists of the major testing providers. Choose the provider named by your program or booking, and every card follows that source's steps, order and markings.

FIVE SOURCE SETS, 104 SKILL CARDS
• Credentia — Maryland 2023 skills listing
• Credentia — Northern California
• Prometric — published clinical skills checklist
• Headmaster / D&S — Michigan
• Headmaster / D&S — Ohio

CRITICAL STEPS, MARKED WHERE YOUR SOURCE MARKS THEM
Credentia and Headmaster mark critical steps in bold; missing one fails the skill. The app marks exactly those steps and no others. Prometric publishes checkpoints without weights, so you practice every checkpoint.

GUIDED PRACTICE
Your phone reads each step aloud. Do it, then tap or say "next". Back and again work the same way, so your hands stay on the task. When you know the order, practice from memory.

REHEARSE, THEN SELF-CHECK
Do the skill first, without looking. Then tick the steps you actually did and see what you missed.

PRACTICE OUT LOUD
Say each step as you do it. The app listens on your iPhone and ticks the steps it heard; you check every tick and untick anything you didn't do. Speech is recognized on the device, in English, and the recording is deleted after each check.

LONG TASKS IN PARTS
Tasks of 16 steps or more can be rehearsed in shorter parts, with a cue for where to start and where to stop. Headmaster tasks with handwashing end with their handwashing part.

MOCK EXAMS IN YOUR PROVIDER'S FORMAT
Practice draws follow the published format: handwashing plus a measurement for Credentia, two unprompted skills for Prometric, a handwashing first task for Headmaster. Timed where the source states a time.

PRINTABLE CHECKLISTS
Print or share US Letter checklists for lab practice with your instructor or partner.

EVERY STEP CITES ITS SOURCE
Each card names the document, edition and page it was written from, with a link to the public source.

FREE AND PRO
Three skills in every source are free, with their printable checklists. CNA Skills Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks every card, mock exams and all checklists. No subscription.

PRIVATE
No account. No tracking. No data collected. Your practice history stays on your iPhone.

This is an independent study aid, not clinical training. It is not affiliated with Credentia, Prometric, D&S Diversified Technologies (Headmaster) or any state agency. Requirements vary by state; follow your instructor and your current candidate handbook.
