## What is CNC Path?

CNC Path is an iPhone and iPad workspace for CNC professionals and learners to manage, edit, OCR-import, and visualize supported CNC programs.

Key features:

- Create, organize, import, and export CNC programs in a local Program Library
- View and edit CNC program text with a mobile-friendly editor
- Import programs from camera or images with on-device OCR and review the result before saving
- Look up CNC instructions and their current support boundaries
- Run lightweight toolpath simulation for supported basic instructions

CNC Path provides auxiliary toolpath visualization only. It does not guarantee collision detection, machining safety, or complete real-machine verification. Users must manually verify OCR results and CNC programs.

This update improves CNC program pasting, editing, and simulation. It normalizes supported Chinese/full-width punctuation pasted from text editors and shows a notice; expands suggestions for ABS, ASIN, ACOS, and ATAN; corrects path recalculation after edits, long-path endpoint/segment synchronization, and SIEMENS HOLES custom-variable false alarms; and allows Single Block to stop on variable, control-flow, and blank lines. It also improves the opaque simulation surface, page transitions, full-screen layout, and display stability. CNC simulation is auxiliary only and does not guarantee collision detection, machining safety, or real-machine verification. Always verify programs and machine parameters manually.

Improves FANUC macro-loop and compact no-space block recognition; adds SIEMENS IF/ELSE/ENDIF, named labels, GOTO/GOTOF/GOTOB, and signed parenthesized expressions. Improves long-program opening, syntax coloring, parsing, and simulation stability while reducing repeated CPU and disk activity. Fixes tool-compensation zero entry, Variables-panel playback persistence, and folder save-location navigation. Adds per-visit G00 path visibility, restores two-finger camera rotation, and raises the generated-path protection budget to 500,000 points. CNC simulation is auxiliary only; manually verify programs and machine parameters. All current features remain free.

- Fixes unresponsive Program Library swipe actions on some system versions and improves list interaction stability.
