Customer support is nonexistent. Emailed them and get no help. Hopefully people look at the reviews before buying the plugs. Save your money don't but from these people ### 1/5 — So hard to connect to iphone *2020-10-19, version 1.3.0* God al mighty please help me I have hooked them up before by just luck Something happened and they both ( smartplugs) got off line but now Ive tried everything so f..ken hard I feel like taking the hammer to it ### 1/5 — Does not work *2020-04-09* I have 2.4 GHz network and an iPhone XR. I cannot setup an intelliPLUG, and the app takes an incredibly long time to tell me it failed, again. It offers you alternative ways to connect, but these also fail. Horrible design and no functionality. This should just work seemlessly - plug in, sync to phone, get internet access, work. Unfortunately, does not. ### 5/5 — Well enough *2019-11-16* Sometimes troublesome to setup, but once it’s setup it’s reliable enough. It sometimes doesn’t turn on via the app but a quick refresh does reliably report the current state. They’re easily and reliably relocated throughout the house. Do not setup connected to an extension cord. It’s more reliably setup connected directly to the wall and in strong range of your phone and wifi. Altogether, they’re cheap and good enough. ### 1/5 — Pray there’s not an update *2019-10-24* Every single firmware or software update causes my unit to disconnect from Alexa. Troubleshooting directions don’t work. Customer support is useless. One of the worst WiFi connect outlet systems available. So yourself a favor and buy a reputable brand name. Not whatever this garbage is. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work anymore no support!! *2019-09-07* Worked great for more than a year. Last week started to ask for password, never sends the code to change password. So basically is useless now. Send several e-mails for help. Totally ignored!! ### 1/5 — Stupid software update *2019-09-01* After they update the add, my device is gone (the log me out and when I logged in, I don’t see my device). My device is not accessible sine it’s different state and I had to wait for a while to re-add to my list (until I travel to the location). DO NOT REMOVE MY DEVICE WHEN YOU UPDATE IDEOT. ### 1/5 — A step backward! *2019-08-30, version 1.3.0* The new version does not tell you that the smart switch is actually on. So to turn it off, you need to turn it on again (even if it is already on). Then, you turn the switch off. Not very convenient or efficient. ### 4/5 — Thanks for the update. *2019-08-26* Was a little disappointed in having to reconnect every intelliplug, but it went very well and updated the firmware in each device.
