Also, one is clicking as if something is going to happen to the plug. ### 1/5 — No longer works *2018-09-05* This worked great a few years ago, but I tried to put another phone and continuously got Wi-Fi set up issues. Then when I reset it it doesn’t even work on my original phone anymore either. Add to that and google home integration issues and this hardware and app is a huge bust ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2018-02-04* Can’t get the plug and app to work. The tech support idea that I received did not work either. ### 1/5 — Cute plug, very poor app and Alexa skill function *2018-01-13* I love the plug size, but the app is clumsy and slow (eg turning on and off the plugs takes several seconds each) and the Alexa skill only works for a few minutes before needing to be turned off and reactivated. As I purchased these plugs primarily to add to my current Alexa-controlled outlets I find this flaw a total dealbreaker. Hopefully the app is redone and the Alexa skill is fixed but as nothing has been updated in months I am beginning to think this is just wasted money. I cannot setup an intelliPLUG, and the app takes an incredibly long time to tell me it failed, again. It offers you alternative ways to connect, but these also fail. Horrible design and no functionality. This should just work seemlessly - plug in, sync to phone, get internet access, work. Customer support is useless. One of the worst WiFi connect outlet systems available. So yourself a favor and buy a reputable brand name. Last week started to ask for password, never sends the code to change password. So basically is useless now. Send several e-mails for help. My device is not accessible sine it’s different state and I had to wait for a while to re-add to my list (until I travel to the location). DO NOT REMOVE MY DEVICE WHEN YOU UPDATE IDEOT. ### 1/5 — A step backward! *2019-08-30, version 1.3.0* The new version does not tell you that the smart switch is actually on. So to turn it off, you need to turn it on again (even if it is already on). Then, you turn the switch off. Login lost, password reset says I have no account, account sign up doesn’t work. It sometimes doesn’t turn on via the app but a quick refresh does reliably report the current state. They’re easily and reliably relocated throughout the house. Do not setup connected to an extension cord. It’s more reliably setup connected directly to the wall and in strong range of your phone and wifi. Altogether, they’re cheap and good enough. ### 5/5 — Cheap and solid *2018-11-29* In the beginning it was buggy and hard to set up but with the more recent updates it’s where it should be at ### 5/5 — Now Working With Echo *2018-04-25, version 1.1.0* The app always worked well on the iPhone.The plugs did not stay synced with Amazon Echos. They finally fixed it. Very stable and works great with Alexa. ### 5/5 — These plugs are great! *2017-11-30* I had no trouble at all setting up my three plugs in three different rooms. All three are working perfectly, and they are easy to control from my phone. One of them controls a hard-to-reach lamp that is plugged into an outlet under my dining room table, which has always bee‭n a pain to use. Now I can turn the light on and off without crawling under there. I don’t know why other people had so much trouble. Perhaps they did not realize that they must be on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. I usually run on my 5G network, but I just switched to the 2.4 to do the set up. Works fine. I would definitely recommend these plugs. ### 4/5 — Thanks for the update. *2019-08-26* Was a little disappointed in having to reconnect every intelliplug, but it went very well and updated the firmware in each device. I have 10 devices. All is working well. The new interface is nice. ### 4/5 — Very good and affordable switch *2017-11-26* The app installed easily on my iPhone 6 and integrates well with Alexa. It can be controlled from anywhere, you don’t need to be connected to your home WiFi network. I marked it down one star because it stopped working with Alexa and I had to disable and reenable the Alexa skill to get it to work again. It looks good and seems to be well made. I use it to control an espresso machine and it handles the 1500 watts without any overheating issues. All said I think it’s an excellent value and I’m happy with the purchase. ### 2/5 — Does not work over 4G *2018-08-12* If I try to control a plug using 4G (with full bars) instead of Wi-Fi, the plugs get disconnected.
