### 5/5 — Awesome simpel tap test

*2013-07-09, version 1.1.3*

Love it. It works.

Would love to pull in/intergrate data from sleep tracker and step tracker apps. Or sync with calendar.

### 5/5 — Simple & effective

*2013-04-13*

Easy to use. Measures objectively your CNS. Facilitates coaches/athletes communication. Helps in adjusting workouts.

### 5/5 — Tree guru

*2013-04-12, version 1.1.1*

### 4/5 — Simple to use

*2012-12-04, version 1.0.9*

It does what it's supposed to do.

### 5/5 — I

*2012-11-19, version 1.0.9*

Great app, one I find very useful to help manage my training load. Simple and easy to use!

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2012-10-12, version 1.0.9*

I dig this app. I adjust my training according to this app and a couple of other tests. Hours of sleep seem to correspond with higher tap numbers, duh. The number graphing is clutch also.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2012-08-11, version 1.0.6*

Great app, very easy to use and does exactly what it's designed to do. The developer is also very responsive.
Thanks!

### 5/5 — Excellent.

*2012-05-10, version 1.0.3*

People constantly talk about how they have 'fried' their cns but the body is much more resilient than they think.

This app will allow you to see whether or not it is by using a simple tap test. Takes less than 30 seconds and gives you valuable information to use for your training day.

The developer is constantly updating his apps and has other things lined up in the future. Excellent!

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2012-05-03, version 1.0.3*

I've been looking for something like this to manage my CNS stress (sprinter doing 100% effort sprints plus heavy lifting plus plyos) and this app works perfect! Thank you

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Strange interface, needs refinement

*2024-10-09, version 1.5.5*

The app is pretty confusing to navigate and I'm not quite sure where I need to go to do stuff. This app looks very plain and isn't very useful.

### 1/5 — Stupid. No benefit

*2019-04-09, version 1.4.0*

This gives you no real information. Ridiculous

### 1/5 — If I could return it I would

*2019-01-30, version 1.4.0*

This app should be free

### 1/5 — Strange interface, needs refinement

*2016-10-15, version 1.2.8*

The app is pretty confusing to navigate and I'm not quite sure where I need to go to do stuff. This app looks very plain and isn't very useful.

### 1/5 — Incorrect price advertised:-(

*2015-06-24, version 1.2.6*

My AMEX CC was charged $5.99 instead of the displayed price of $1.99. I've been cheated $4.00!

### 2/5 — Export Data with Zero import

*2018-10-19, version 1.3.0*

I purchased this app due to yiutube reviews. But I just switched iphone and I cannot port my data which can be exported by email. This is a poor user experience.

### 2/5 — Works, but not worth buying.

*2016-09-02, version 1.2.8*

This app works, however it does very little and it is unlikely you will ever use it for even an entire minute.

The app's function goes on for only about 10 seconds where you tap the screen. After that the test is over and no longer very useful.

You can look at graphs etc. but they hold no function whatsoever for the average or even unusual user.

I strongly recommend getting a different free version of this or such, honestly there are so many ways to test this without the app it makes it almost redundant. I've realized now I have spent more time writing this review than using the app.

### 3/5 — App due a refresh

*2021-01-12, version 1.4.2*

It would be great to see App refresh and the time of day added to the graphs to see best performance?

### 3/5 — Only option for a CNS test on IOS

*2013-06-18, version 1.1.2*

It does what it does well, and isn't buggy. I wish it had an option for "best out of 3" or a daily average, though. Even the ability to record more than 1 a day would be nice.

### 3/5 — Easy to use but needs to save more information

*2013-04-05, version 1.0.9*

The test is very easy, but the data which is stored is not enough and it only stores one test per day which defeats the point for me.

I will continue to use the app for testing, but am recording to my own spreadsheet immediately after testing.

Requests:
- allow unlimited tests per day
- include time (of day) in data export
- put date in ISO standard: yyyy-mm-dd

Additional features:
- reminders

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — 2015-2024 crew 🫡

*2024-04-27, version 1.5.3*

No nonsense. No imitators. Just a cracking simplistic tap test for checking my athletes CNS/fatigue levels.

### 5/5 — Easy. Fun.

*2018-06-05, version 1.3.0*

Great app. Simple and direct to use. One suggestion; would be nice to set parameters on graph to eliminate scores saved in error or results belie a threshold that are obviously unwanted to keep results graph cleaner.

### 5/5 — Great monitor

*2017-10-09*

Excellent App to monitor you recovery rate and confirm you are functioning to you capacity.

### 5/5 — Awesome app!

*2017-06-11*

Good way to gauge how you are really feeling body wise! Based on sound physiological principles that allow a simple yet effective biofeedback tool!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2016-12-07, version 1.2.8*

I use this app first thing after I weigh. The app is a good tool to help give me a bit of insight into how I am feeling with my work out and recovery.

### 5/5 — Works great

*2014-07-26, version 1.2.3*

Works exactly as advertised. Easy to use.

### 5/5 — Excellent tool for testing CNS

*2014-07-24, version 1.2.3*

This is a really simple and straightforward way to test your Central Nervous System. I use it every day to help decide whether to lift big or take it easy. And the graphing is very helpful for evaluating trends. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

### 5/5 — Recovery

*2013-12-22, version 1.2.0*

I overtrained and read about the CNS tap test from Dan John. Would I really have to count out pencil dashes?
So I took to the App Store and found this. Over the last 6 weeks I have watched my nervous system recharge. This is a helpful app to determine if you're overtraining.

### 5/5 — Really useful

*2013-12-02, version 1.2.0*

Helps me assess my neural fatigue level, and adjust my training day by day to allow optimal recovery! 10/10

### 5/5 — Great app

*2013-11-11, version 1.2.0*

Nice little app. I use it every morning to check my cognitive performance.
