### 2/5 — Dead in the water

*2025-06-04, version 1.1.20*

When Vegas and Chicago have like 10 people or so… you know the app is dead of members. Good idea but they just aren’t drawing people in.

### 4/5 — Seems good

*2025-03-17, version 1.1.20*

Seems fine for now. I like how simple it is. No bugs. Of course it's still new (or is it?), so there were only a couple people in my area... but I hope to see it grow! I like to see apps that help nerdy/gamers/neurodiverse people to meet. I'd just like to see a filter that's by country, or state/province, rather than only by distance... I live in QC near the borders of the US and Ontario. And also, no one comes up in a 100 miles radius, at the moment. Searching in the rest of QC or Canada could have been interesting.

### 2/5 — Would be good

*2025-02-02, version 1.1.20*

This would be a good app if there were people near me as not many people use this app

### 2/5 — Another overpriced app

*2025-01-27, version 1.1.20*

Barely any free likes per day, apparently less profile views unless you upgrade, cant see likes. Pretty much unless you want to pay $20 a month, good luck actually meeting anyone. Maybe if you actually want to grow your user base, BE DIFFERENT. Eliminate all the paywalls to basic features and run ads or something instead for profit. I’d rather watch a 30 second ad 100 times than spend my hard earned money for the slim chance of actually meeting someone on these apps.

### 3/5 — nice idea

*2024-10-31, version 1.1.18*

It’s a ghost town. I just went through a dozen or so people before not seeing any more. Now the app is useless unless I pay for the pro version. Is the app just limiting how many I see so that I have to pay for the pro?

### 2/5 — Dead app

*2024-05-05, version 1.1.17*

They need to do something to bring more users in, make the layout more gamer friendly, and do something else to set itself apart. It's a great concept but I live in a major city and there should be no reason for no users for weeks at a time. Great idea, just not executed correctly

### 1/5 — Name hurts it

*2024-03-07, version 1.1.16*

Co-op is a really creative name for the type of networking it is. Unfortunately, the name means when searching for the app you actually can’t even find it. Coupled with it’s extremely small user base (my area has like 15 people and no matches, using the most generous settings) it’s really hard to justify keeping. And since this has been an ongoing issue based on the time for other reviews, with all the positive reviews saying it might be good later on, I cannot personally justify keeping it

### 1/5 — a noble attempt but DRY

*2024-01-16, version 1.1.15*

The app isn’t marketed. The low number of users plus the general unattractiveness of the user base was enough to have me delete the app after opening once or twice . Decent UI but without a partnership with a streaming company or influencer I don’t see this taking off . ..

### 3/5 — Nice idea but no users

*2023-11-30, version 1.1.13*

My type of dating app, with a nice and simple interface, but not a single profile, even with age range and distance at max. And I live in the bay area CA - millions of people here. 😕

### 1/5 — Confused

*2023-10-09, version 1.1.13*

People don’t even shown up to match with

### 4/5 — App is good just need more people on

*2023-10-05, version 1.1.13*

App is like any other dating app but you can search by games people play and filters like most others. More people on this would make it a better experience.

### 2/5 — Ghost town

*2023-08-23, version 1.1.13*

Literally not a single person in my city on here or even nearby. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Better than being full of bots and onlyfans sellers/hookers I suppose, but only just.

Better than literally anything owned by Match because of that single fact.

### 4/5 — “Can’t create User”

*2023-07-29, version 1.1.13*

Would love to try it out but can’t even create a user :(

### 1/5 — Pretty terrible

*2023-07-02, version 1.1.12*

Soon I got through the ten people I had I never got to see more for three days so I just deleted it. Not a very good app at all

### 4/5 — Give it time

*2023-06-19, version 1.1.12*

The app has potential… if you don’t try to simply take your users money. To the developers, whatever you do, don’t make it your goal to make money.

The layout is awesome and simple. There’s not many people on it but it could be great if it grows. I want it to grow so more people could be on it and increase possible matches and activity.

The only problem would come from if they start doing these absurd subscriptions like every other major company. If a company found another way that isn’t subscriptions to make money or limit the user… they could make a jackpot of an app to be better than big name apps, just saying.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Cant even make a account

*2025-11-25, version 1.1.21*

I tried making an account but I couldn’t it wouldn’t send me the email or let me make an account

### 1/5 — Empty

*2025-09-08, version 1.1.20*

Out of curiosity i paid…guess it, no profile in existence even if you select everything

### 1/5 — Location Settings

*2025-03-01, version 1.1.20*

Only a few profiles within a 100 mile radius of where I live and I’m 30 minutes from a major city… No point in keeping the app or even attempting to do premium. Deleted right away

### 1/5 — Empty

*2025-01-19, version 1.1.20*

It’s empty

### 1/5 — Nobody else uses it apparently

*2024-12-20, version 1.1.19*

No profiles to show anywhere

### 1/5 — The app isn’t worth the code it’s compiled from.

*2024-10-29, version 1.1.18*

All dating apps are a hoax. You’re more likely to find a Sasquatch behind your house than a wife on a dating app.

### 1/5 — dead dating app

*2024-10-22*

I live in LA and even after setting a wide search parameter, I went through all the users within 30 minutes with no matches. Gave it the benefit of the doubt since its new and waited a couple weeks to see if more people would show up or if any of my likes march, but still no one to even swipe, completely empty.

Honestly if there was a free super like and/or a message attach, maybe I'd have better luck since my openers usually gets matches on other apps but sadly there isn't a way for me to show my genuine interest to another user so it drastically lowers my chance to talking to them.

It's said because I really want to like this app because I want to find people by common interest/hobbies in games, comics, anime, ect but its hard to do on other apps. Maybe if it's still running and I'm still alone I'll check it out in a year but for now, it's pretty wack dating app.

### 1/5 — Dead Userbase

*2024-10-09, version 1.1.18*

I want to preface this review that I live in between Ventura and Los Angeles county, a densely populated area. I am in my early 30s. I’ve been using Co-Op for a full year and in that time I have only seen 3 people total. I check every day to see if there is any matches and every time it’s the same image of the purple shirt woman sitting alone with a controller in her hands. She might as well be the grim reaper come to claim the userbase. There is no one on this app. If you do a search in the App Store, Co-op isn’t even in the top 5 so no one even knows about this dating app. How can users join if they don’t even know this app exists. I have left this app for Goblin Meets Goblin a new upcoming dating app for gamers.

### 1/5 — Empty

*2024-09-06, version 1.1.18*

I literally found 9 people in a 100 mile radius.

### 1/5 — Too Niche/Low Population

*2024-04-07, version 1.1.17*

TL;DR: Just stay away this waste of time

This app has a decent premise trying to appeal to an already niche group. Unfortunately and almost predictably falls quite short.

After setting up the profile I was able to sift through the ENTIRE group of people within a day or two leaving literally no reason to come back unless someone A) Is active and likes you back or B) Likes you and can see it listed (None of these have happened after my second time redownloading this).

Keep in mind my distance is set to max as well as living in probably the most densely populated city in the U.S. so there can be no developer excuse I’m living in the middle of nowhere

It’s just simply a population issue with little to no marketing budget and a lack of updates over the course of its so far two’ish year run to make any improvements to be worth your time.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Trying to create account

*2025-06-11, version 1.1.20*

Not letting me create an account or login in with my phone number or Apple account if you can help fix that I’d appreciate it thank you

### 5/5 — Has potential

*2025-06-07, version 1.1.20*

I deleted the app but I’m leaving a 5 star review in hopes that this app can grow in the future. I live in a major city in Florida and within a 100 mile radius there were only 8 profiles I could like… it’s a great idea to connect gamers together, but needs a lot more advertising so more people can join.

### 5/5 — Cute with lots of potential!

*2025-05-04, version 1.1.20*

Love the aesthetic of the app!

The questions are super cute. I think the subscription is well within reason compared to other dating apps (devs gotta make money to make the app!)

My suggestions for improvement are:
Adding analog games like board games, D&D, card games. Or at least letting us fill in our own games.

Also adding in ENM/polyamorous option. I’m able to explain in one of my Question answers, but it would still be nice and even better if it was a filter.

Excited to see how y’all grow, keep up the good work!

### 5/5 — Very great formatting

*2024-04-21, version 1.1.17*

The app is honestly very good. I actually had more people in my area than I was expecting, based on the reviews I saw. Seems like if this does eventually get much more gamers on here it will be a very great app!

### 5/5 — Potential

*2023-12-18, version 1.1.13*

I tried the app and went thru matches in my area pretty quick, saw a couple more pop up after a couple days. I like the idea of it and am willing to give it time to grow because why not, might be worth the wait. But expect limited matches at the time of this review.

### 5/5 — A lot of potential

*2023-02-08, version 1.1.12*

Great app has a lot of potential but still early stages need more ppl to grow :/ not enough members in my areas hopefully the app blows up

### 5/5 — Newbie

*2022-09-14, version 1.1.9*

Is there a preference setting so I can filter guys I’m looking for and games they play?

### 5/5 — A modern, easy way to connect with gamers

*2022-06-11, version 1.1.5*

Loving this app so far, thanks to its clean UI and ease of use. As someone who has enjoyed video games my whole life, the app makes it easy to connect with other gamers. I hope to see more users soon so I can make more connections!

### 5/5 — Great but small

*2022-06-11, version 1.1.5*

Really well made app. Not a ton of gamers on it yet, but I’m gonna keep checking to see when it finally grows.

### 5/5 — Nice, and probably going to get better

*2022-05-02, version 1.1.3*

I just installed this like 20 minutes ago, made my profile and ran out of users in my area. Just a testament to how few people know of this.

However, this app is really nice. A purple/white theme that’s gentle on the eyes, a variety of purely gaming-related setup. This is NOT a general dating app; it’s for gamers.

I’m sure over time more games will be added to the list of options, other features, etc. (Monster Hunter should be one hint hint)

There is a paid service, but they’ve gotta make money somehow so I totally understand. Hopefully it doesn’t damage the core of the app, like OkCupid’s does (previously rejected people show back up in your likes as if you’ve never seen them)

I would also like to suggest a thing, like with the smoking/drinking/location stuff, for a sort of average amount of time spent playing games each day. Just a little icon of a timer and a number in hours? :) To help get a feel between people who literally game all day and others who only play a small amount.
