Terrible app- it could’ve been great but it’s let down by the fact that it doesn’t actually benefit the user. It’s essentially a messaging system where you don’t hear back from a human being for weeks on end. Usually, you repeatedly have to verify your ID and business details even though there are biometrics and passcodes to get into the app in the first place- so this just seems like an odd delay tactic before a query will be answered. The Change of Signatories team
responds rarely- it’s such a far cry from the business banking phone line. It’s absolutely dreadful- you just message into the void for up to a month and when you finally hear back, it’ll be to verify your identity and then you repeat the cycle. I need to use this as part of a club’s financial records so the time I do the finances in is my own, unpaid and the CoOp banking app has made this such a frustrating experience. I think it’s frankly dreadful.

Difficult to use, the questions are unclear and there’s no way to go back if you make a mistake or realise you’ve clicked the wrong confusingly worded option. The address finder doesn’t work correctly so I wasn’t able to add my business address. You are unable to check what details are already held when asked to update your information and told not to include details already provided previously but then asked to provide information which coop already hold on file.

Very unintuitive. Can’t go bank and correct errors. Asked a question and no one answered in over a week. Tried to delete the app and start again and now it just does nothing.

Giving 5 stars to help as this app saves time not calling up and I get great support and help. Having a Coop account is not for convenience, it’s for ethics. The actually banking app is okay, the service is paranoid about security and often block me getting the card to work which is hilariously not what a bank is supposed to do, but the help app is the most functional thing and the people seem nice and not robotically professional. The haters bagging on this app probably have bad love lives and b**ls**t jobs and just take it out of the Coop. Long live the clunky coop I say 🙋🏼‍♂️✊🏼

Can’t seem to get registered for the help app. I thought I’d give it a go while waiting on the phone. Got registered and then get rejected cos my passport photo is blurred. You already know who I am what’s the problem?
I’d cancel my account but I probably wouldn’t be allowed to for some reason. Sooooo frustrating!!!!

Spent 30 mins getting to speak to someone who advised that in future to try using the business help app, to save my valuable time. I messaged for help at 2pm today and got NO response! Deleted app and considering closing my business bank account with the Coop and go elsewhere.
