## What is Co?

Running a production line is the easy part. Managing an unpredictable workforce... that's the real challenge!

You run a contract packaging plant. The lines, the automation, the capital — all yours to command. But the one input that decides whether you ship or sink is the one you control least: your crew. Co-Pack is a daily-staffing sim about running a real workforce, one shift at a time.

Every morning is a decision.
At each standup the board wipes clean and you re-staff from whoever actually showed up. A line only produces when Induct, Pack, and Stage are all covered. Fill the slots, hit Start Shift, and watch the cartons roll — or scramble when half your bench no-shows.

The cycle you'll spend the game mastering:
• A deep bench covers bad mornings — but anyone you don't place goes home unpaid and sours
• Push output with overtime and morale drops; buy it back with meals and raises and cash drops
• Too lean and one absence stalls a line; too fat and you bleed money and goodwill

Build something that lasts.
• Sign contracts with real deadlines — beat them or take a reputation hit
• Promote leads, convert temps to permanent staff, and upgrade automation
• Open new lines for true parallel production
• Hire a floor supervisor so shifts keep running while you're away
