We’re sorry you feel frustrated, but several claims in this review are simply factually incorrect. Our app does not request permissions or access to your device, files, photos, contacts, or anything else on your device. The only basic information we ask for is your name, email address, and team name. We do not request access to “everything,” factually, we do not ask for access to anything. The app does offer a subscription, and we are completely transparent about that. Subscriptions start at $6.99, so whether that represents good value is ultimately a matter of personal opinion. Comparing our service to free YouTube content is fair, but calling the app a “scam” based on claims about permissions and data access that are simply untrue is not. We’re happy to answer genuine questions about our data practices, permissions, or pricing, but we believe it’s important to correct misinformation when it is presented as fact.

Thanks for the feedback, Jake. We’re sorry the app didn’t meet your expectations. We’re always working to improve the UI and calendar experience, and feedback like this helps us identify where we can do better. That said, “calendar syncing is pathetic” doesn’t give us much to work with. If you experienced a specific syncing issue, we’d genuinely appreciate the details so we can investigate and address it. We’ll continue improving the app based on specific, actionable feedback.

We understand that Coachbetter may not have been your personal choice as a coach, but was selected by your club, and we want to make sure that decision still works well for you day to day. We're sorry the app hasn't met your expectations so far, particularly around calendar integration, which we know is central to how you manage your team's schedule, and the overall usability of our web interface.
