Large room with king size bed, bath and separate shower, even a rubber duck! You only get one chance to make a first impression and The White Hart smashed it. The receptionist was great and was not fazed by my dubious sense of humour. Then when we had paid online the response was that our order would take 25mins to arrive. All I could think of was someone eating plums and all the juice running down their chin, it made me feel a little sick so I ordered a ginger beer. It was a real struggle to read anything due to dark text on dark background in bright sunshine. Eventually I completed the order but when trying to pay the system simply wouldn’t move on from the ‘sign in’ button. I tried 6 times !!! We had to go inside and order verbally in the end.
