### 1/5 — 3 matches for free should mean 3 completed attempts

There’s no easy/obvious way to fix errors in setting up a match. I had to delete the entire match to start over. Meaning, because of errors trying to use a platform with limited user instruction, and before I can ever track a full set, I am out of the trial period. This feels like an app designed for one person who knows how to use it. Issues specifically: Once game starts and you realize you are in serve receive vs serve, you can’t fix it. Player listed wrong in the lineup (wrong location or #), can’t fix it. Point gained without rally - very unclear how to track. Can’t undo first play if you type incorrectly off the bat. I never got to the stat evaluation phase…

**Developer response:** You are 100% right, this was originally designed for one person (me), and I'm so keen to make sure it works for a lot more people.

I've just submitted a new version of(3.4.3), which will let you test out 5 matches that you actually keep stats in (and not just start but then trash).

I'm recording some new videos for usage and am planning a better onboarding for the very first time through, but in terms of the issues above:
- Game started and you're in serve receive and not serving, you can hit the Sideout/Serving button to rotate your team around until you get back to the server you want.
- You can fix the location of a player in the lineup by dragging a player (either from the subs or an on-court player) to another location. If you want to sub someone out you can tap on a sub and then tap on a player on-court to make the sub that way, too
- If the player's number is wrong you can tap on the person icon at the right end of the subs list... in this view you can edit the player's number or name or add registration numbers or 'sounds like' info for the voice stats or change their position (or add positions to them)
- Tracking a point gained without a rally: you can just tap on the + button next to your score, if you have the scoreboard shown... or were you looking to capture the reason for it, too? Like an out of rotation call or red card or something?
- Can't undo the first play... The yellow undo button should un-do the last captured stat, including the first one. The popup status bar does leave the very first stat up there, but it's no longer in the game stats. I'll be fixing this bug in the next release.

I’m a long time volleyball coach. I thought the UI was so clean in the images. It was a little confusing getting set up but I got going. I was testing it on an old match. I couldn’t find anywhere where to set if there are 3 or 5 sets. And it took me forever to realize that the serve receive ratings were minuscule. I had to stop using it at that point because I couldn’t even see the ratings numbers.

**Developer response:** I'd love to get your feedback on what you found difficult to set up, as one of the main motivations of writing this app was improving the experience getting a match going, out of the box.

Because I wanted it as stream lined as possible, and it could be for U16 matches, which go best of 3, or other matches, which go best of 5, or even an open scenario, where you're statting a 'match' in training that could go 6, 7, 1,000 sets, there is no setting for the number of games. You just hit End Game and start the next one when you're ready.

Good feedback on the pass ratings, were you using it on an iPad or an iPhone? We've done our best to cram all the widgets we need into the UI as best we can, but are always open to making it even better. In 3.4 we have voice stats shipping, so hopefully that'll address some of the pain!

This version adds some improvements to the passing stats capture, the ability to capture block assists, and some improvements in commentary mode, if you use that.

Two big new features:
* There's a new Compare tab for your statted matches... get a snapshot of performance differences between two matches or sets of matches and if they share players, see what changed for the players from one to the next.
* Auto-capture assists... if you have a setter on court you no longer have to hunt for them to hit the assist button before tapping on an attacker to properly track who's doing the setting. Simply flip the switch in the settings and auto-assign assists to your setter. It's a smart feature that won't assign an assist to themselves, if they wind up attacking the ball, and if you manually assign an assist attempt to someone else it won't insert a second assist in there. And for an unassisted attack you can tap on an attack button (kill, attempt, or error) and swipe to the right to record an un-linked attack.

This is mostly a bug fix release, focused on hotspot exports, performance, improving the UI for finding passers in the heat of the moment, the match summary, both when a match is active and when you're reviewing it later.
