The a app has its glitches such as changing tier code everyone I open the app. From bronze to silver back and forth. A+ ### 3/5 — Great to expand your business as a coach! *2024-10-12* A great app for acquiring new clients out of you sphere of influence. As a coach, clients can be fickle, but Coachup is a great addition to any coaches marketing strategy. The is the fee structure and the upfront costs for clients. If Coachup could take a smaller percentage of your coaching fees and lower their initiation costs, it would be a much better platform to use. And my experience because of the additional fees, it is much harder to retain clients on the CoachUp app, as opposed to clients who contact me outside of the app. For example, if I charge $50 a session, my clients typically pay around $90 for the first session and I only received $35. With the fact that most clients scheduled between three and five sessions Coachup makes more money than I do for most of my sessions. ### 5/5 — Real deal *2024-07-19, version 6.13* This is the real deal. I actually don’t even believe that it’s a company and that there’s anyone running the app. We did find a coach that part was nice. He was great and a good fit for my daughter, but we had to drive over 30 miles and over 40 minutes away to meet the after multiple attempts by the coach still would not provide a copy of their insurance in order for for us to practice nearby, my home, which is what I signed up for, at a public park The coach emailed several times. I emailed several times. Crickets. There is no customer service. I think AI is running the app and someone is just pocketing the money. I wish I had read reviews online sooner because I am the first person to have a terrible experience with Customer Service of any customer service. Use another company. I simply asked that support cancel the I booked session and issue a refund to which I got no response. Learned that app was charging me for coaching sessions for sessions I didn’t order. I didn’t authorize these charges on my credit card and am fighting CoachUp to get this money back. I don’t like this app as a parent. ### 1/5 — Horrible Customer Service *2022-06-14, version 6.9.1* You have to buy sessions and what they do not tell you up front is that they expire. I booked some sessions for my son and the coach was good. He then got hurt (not during coaching) and we couldn’t use the remaining sessions until he was better. The session were set to expire and Michael refused to refund or extend the expiration period. Shame on them it was only $70. We just ditched the app and work directly with the coach. ### 1/5 — Baseless Accusations, restrict your account *2022-04-08* CoachUp restricted my account for saying their blocking of contact info was ridiculous. When I explained the importance of me seeing clients via Zoom before accepting clients, they shifted their reasoning to: if you bring a CoachUp lead to book through CoachUp we will unrestrict your account. Considering I had no leads acquired through CoachUp booking outside, I told them That was not possible. I had a new client schedule to meet that was booked through CoachUp and I asked them if they would count. CoachUp never got back to me. I asked them to refund all my scheduled clients and still no response. They couldn’t prove I took clients, because there aren’t any. Beware, they power trip and this from what I’ve seen on their Instagram Ads is something they do regularly. Honestly, you’re better off doing google ads. I used both simultaneously and got more leads through Google. ### 1/5 — Scam Reviews are Fake *2022-03-11, version 6.9.1* No legit coaches are up here. I used app before I became certified.
