## What is Coal?

Give everyone you're buying for a budget, keep your gift ideas in one place, and always know what's left to spend. Coal keeps Christmas shopping on track.

A BUDGET FOR EVERY PERSON
• Set a budget for each person and watch it burn down as you buy
• See what's left, or how far over you are, on every card
• The Hearth at the top adds it all up: total budget, spent, remaining and gifts bought
• No budget for someone? Leave it at zero and Coal just tracks what you've spent

IDEAS BECOME GIFTS
• Jot down ideas with an estimated price, a store, a link, a note and a photo
• When you buy one, mark it bought with the final price and whether it's taxable
• Coal adds your sales tax and moves it to Gifts
• See what your ideas would cost before you commit, so there are no surprises

SHOP TOGETHER
• Share a whole season with a partner over iCloud
• You both see and edit the same lists, so nobody buys the same gift twice
• See who's in on the season at a glance

YEAR AFTER YEAR
• Start a new season and bring your people along
• Past seasons stay put, read-only, so you can look back at what you gave
• Photo or emoji avatars for everyone, in eight colors

MAKE IT YOURS
• Five themes, from Ember to Evergreen, Candy Cane, Frost and Cocoa
• Light, dark or match your device
• Designed for iPhone and iPad, with a side-by-side view on iPad
• Rumor has it there's something else hiding in the coal

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your lists live in your own iCloud account. There's no sign-up and no ads, and Coal doesn't collect any data.

Coal is free. If it helps your holidays, you can leave a tip in Settings.
