## What is Coast to Coast Walk?

Walk Wainwright's classic Coast to Coast — from St Bees on the Irish Sea to Robin Hood's Bay on the North Sea — with a GPS trail companion built for the route.

Devised by Alfred Wainwright in his 1973 guidebook, the Coast to Coast runs 190 miles (306 km) clear across northern England and is now an official National Trail.

Coast to Coast Walk gives you what you need on the trail, online or off:

• Offline maps: download the route and navigate by GPS even with no signal, across the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors.
• Stage-by-stage guide: all 16 stages from St Bees to Robin Hood's Bay, each with distance, ascent, walking time and difficulty.
• Elevation profiles: see the climbs and descents before you set off.
• Underfoot and terrain: what you walk on (footpath, bridleway, track, lane) by distance for every stage.
• Water and refill points: taps, springs and village stops near the route, so you can plan the dry stretches.
• Heritage and nature: the history, geology, wildlife and scenic highlights along the way.
• Live GPS position: see exactly where you are on the trail.
