I got my registration email within a few hours and signed up and started using the site on my computer. I decided to splurge and buy the app so I could use it on the go. I logged in only to be told that I could not have access to the app unless I bought an $8 yearly subscription to the website. What a complete scam. It doesn’t mention anywhere that you then need to sign up for an additional subscription service to do so. The nearby parks feature is handy for when I’m at a park as it saves time hunting and it’s a great tool! You do need to pay extra to link your account to the app and the website, which is a slight downside, but you’ve gotta support the developer somehow! I want a refund! *2026-09-06, version 4.8* After purchasing this, I had to “register” information to use this. I have not received any emails from the app to allow me to sign in. When I attempt to sign in it wants me to verify an email I have not received. I should be able to use it after creating my password. I want my money back but Apple doesn’t list this purchase as refundable. I attempted to register and I get a message stating it will be 7 days while my information is reviewed for registration. You have to pay to download and when you register beware you may not get a response for 5-days. The response doesn’t matter when it comes because the app is so difficult to use. There are three apps better than this and all of them free. Look elsewhere Editing my review because the developer contacted me via email with a snarky, passive aggressive response to this review. Bad app, bad customer service. Stay away. ### 1/5 — Überflüssig und schlecht umgesetzt. *2022-04-29, version 4.8* 7€ für eine App, welche nicht mehr kann was ein Blatt Papier und ein Stift auch können. Ich habe viel mehr davon erwartet. Keine Fotos der Achterbahnen, eine unschöne Oberfläche und ständig die Warnung, dass man gesperrt wird, sollte man falsche Angaben machen. Nun… also Achterbahnen nachtragen welche man als Kind gefahren ist… gefährlich, vllt. vertue ich mich ja beim Tag, werde gesperrt und kann die App dann nicht weiter nutzen. 7€ fehlinvestiert, schade. ### 1/5 — They take your money and you get nothing!!!!! *2020-08-17, version 4.7* The specifically say when you are creating an account. They don’t tell you until after you pay for the app. Even after you pay the $3 it is an absolute pain trying to verify your account to log into the app. It’s a coaster app that they secure like it’s your income tax information. However, after purchasing the app, I haven’t been able to log into my account (I keep getting told to use a desktop and purchase some kind of other subscription to it), there’s also no way to contact support on the app (at least not that I can see). I just tried using the website, and it’s decent. Slow, but decent. I have the paid subscription, which is more than worth it for the convenience it offers. Very low cost for a ton of great features. ### 5/5 — The Best Coaster Only App *2023-04-28, version 4.8* I feel compelled to write this because I can’t believe how many bad reviews there are for this great app. It does cost $3 a year to use, but I think the value is 10 times that. Every coaster in the world is listed and it is very easy to use. I have had great costumer service, unlike a lot of the bad reviews. I tried LogRide, but I really disliked that it had every ride in the park and not just the coasters. You do need to set up your account online, but then you can easily log into the app. I was able to use the date and old trip itineraries to create a very accurate timeline of first rides of the coasters I had ridden before I used this app. I use this app all of the time when out riding and when planning trips. I highly recommend it. ### 5/5 — Ein Muss für einen Achterbahnfan! *2022-07-11, version 4.8* Der Preis hat mich ersteinmal abgeschreckt, jedoch habe ich nach kurzer Benutzung gemerkt wie gut diese App ist. Diese App ist immer aktuell, man erkennt wo was neues entsteht und wo welche Achterbahn entsteht. So habe ich alleine durch diese App so viele tolle neue Parks gefunden! Tourenplanung ohne diese App stelle ich mir mittlerweile unglaublich schwer vor. Preis allemal wert und vielen Dank für diese tolle App! ### 5/5 — Tolle App *2022-05-30, version 4.8* Wer die Website kennt und nutzt ist mit der App perfekt aufgestellt. Einfach zu bedienen, direkte Verlinkung zur RCDB für die Fakten zur Bahn und Ähnliches. Dazu die sehr praktische Möglichkeit nach Achterbahnen in der Nähe zu schauen und mittlerweile auch ein Warteschlangenspiel. Die Coaster-Count Pro Mitgliedschaft ist darüber hinaus meines Wissens nach nicht mehr nötig. Vollste Empfehlung! ### 5/5 — Das Original mit der besten Datenbank. Und: Keine Abzocke! *2020-10-22, version 4.7* Coaster Count ist die Zählseite für Achterbahn-Nerds, -Counter und -Sammler. Ich liebe die App, nutze sie wöchentlich und kann aktiv an der Weiterentwicklung mitreden. Die App bietet viele Inhalte und ist doch trotzdem übersichtlich. Ohne wenn und aber 5 von 5 Sterne! Und zu all den schlechten „Abzock“-Berwertungen: Die Coaster-Count App ist ein Hobby-Projekt und ist nicht auf Gewinn ausgelegt. Die App ist eine mobile Endnutzung der Website und eine Verbesserung für Apple-Nutzer. Und man sollte lesen können, denn da steht, dass man für den Datenabgleich CoasterCount-Total braucht. ### 5/5 — Perfekt *2020-01-02, version 4.6* Ein Muss für jeden Freizeitparkfan ### 5/5 — One of the best Coaster Credit apps *2019-10-25, version 4.6* This app is amazing, and it covers everything you need for coaster credit counting, and even more features, here is the short list of features; - Coaster cred counting - Map of all parks in the world, or you can single it down to a state/province, country, or continent - Tells you when a new coaster in a park is under construction using an icon - You can enable a small number in the corner of the app (on the home screen) to show the amount of credits you have - Credit chronology (in what order have you earned your credits?) - Nearby parks, and it shows the park’s distances from you, and the amount of credits you can still get from that park - Counts of how many parks you have been to, how many continents or counties with parks you have been to - And much much more! This isn’t just any old credit counting app, this is a MUST HAVE app for coaster enthusiasts. ### 5/5 — Brilliant *2019-02-05, version 4.4* Very good app does everything I want however be warned that aswell as paying for the app, in order to actually record what coasters you’ve been on, you have to join “Coaster Count Total” for £1.90 a year. Well worth it though. ### 5/5 — Great App *2018-10-03, version 4.4* This is much better then me trying to write down everything while I’m at a park. Yes you do have to pay $3 a year for the service, but it’s pretty great so I don’t mind. It has helped me find coasters I forgot to include in my list as well as nearby coasters I would have missed!
