I love going for a wander and getting to know the streets’ histories in ways I have never learned about before. It’s especially easy as I can do it any time of the day or night and you don’t have to take your phone out. There are 2 fab options . One to do tailored walks at your own pace ( loved the Tower of London ‘Tudor Triumph and Terror’ walk ). Informative facts that really brought the history to life , little personal things I’d never heard before! The 2nd is Cobble Go which automatically triggers audio, so you can listen to historical scenes , with real actors and music , making you feel like you are stepping back in time ! A total must for Londoners and visitors alike . Having the stories unfold in the physical spaces where the action took place, is powerfully evocative and rivals any museum IMO! Well worth it.
