## What is COBD?

COBD是一款新型车联网服务产品，为用户提供车辆远程管理、娱乐社交服务以及其他车联网服务。
它与硬件OBD盒子协同使用，而OBD盒子是基于 OBD II 标准开发的一款车载智能诊断设备，集 OBD II 数据分析、GPS 定位、GPRS 通讯、G-SENSOR 及智能控制技术于一体，具有行车故障诊断、车况安全检查、油耗统计分析、保养提醒、车辆位置实时查看、车辆轨迹回放、碰撞自动求救等功能。
OBD盒子为即插即用设备，安装于汽车的标准 OBD 接口上，与汽车电脑进行通信，通过 GPRS 将获取的车况数据传送到管理后台。后台对数据进行存储、管理和分析，并将有效信息通过管理后台和手机端软件展现出来。保险等行业用户可通过管理后台及时了解和管理车主车辆信息，从中挖掘商机和获取有效的统计报表，也可通过管理平台为车主提供满意度调查、保养提醒、维修提醒、救援等服务。车主通过手机端软件可实时查看车辆状况，对于车辆出现的异常和故障，终端通过后台即时推送消息到手机提醒车主，告知车主车辆故障引起的原因和异常部件并给予维修建议。车主通过手机还可一键预约保养、维修。 Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
