I’ve tried multiple devices (iPhone, iPad, all update to latest software) and payment methods (ApplePay and regular credit card number). Really frustrating, the app logs me out every time I close it too. I feel like these issues should be addressed quickly because they can prevent customers from purchasing Coco’s services. Love the robots though and the pricing is very fair, good restaurant selection in my area too. ### 4/5 — Pretty cool, but referral bonus never received. *2024-02-02* I like the app and the delivery — cheaper than any alternative, if you don’t mind the more limited selection. I made a referral, and the person I referred ordered something, but neither of us received the $10 credit. The order process was smooth, and the service fees were low (in comparison to all of the other apps) which I appreciated! Unfortunately there was an issue with my assigned coco robot, but a super friendly team member seemingly rescued my food and hand delivered it to my door (all within minutes of the expected delivery time)! What a great experience :) ### 5/5 — Great new product!!! The future is here!!! *2023-03-23* Coco is great! All of my orders have so far been quick and reliable. Their support team was very kind and helpful when I had a question about an order. Their selections have grown since their launch and it looks like the trend is continuing. #earlyadopter ### 2/5 — Whatever you do, don't contact customer support *2023-03-17* I love the concept and the delivery, but I just spent the past three hours getting text messages from the customer support department over and over again. They have a bug in their system and kept saying the same thing over and over again. Their tech support was no help finally had to block them. **Developer response:** Hi there! I’m switching over to exclusively using Coco. The food is loaded immediately, it arrives hot, and I know that no one is touching it during the trip. Can’t wait to use weekly. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Never ordering from Coco again! *2024-05-26* I have had the worst experiences with Coco and if I could, I would give it 0 stars. The last time I ordered from Coco I got a text message saying one part of my order wasn't available and asking if I would like to replace it. I said yes and exactly what I would like it to be replaced by. I then received another text message saying it wasn't possible to replace it. My order was delayed at least 20 minutes and I was in a huge time crunch. But that's not all. When the Coco robot was coming, it stopped moving. So I went to see what happened. The robot was stuck on a tree branch (a small one too) for at least ten minutes before it started moving again. Then, the second time I ordered from Coco, I waited an hour and the food kept getting delayed. As I opened the app, a notification popped up saying my order was cancelled. I wasted an hour waiting for food that was just going to get cancelled. If you want to actually get food, I would advise NOT using Coco. Ordered robot came didn’t opened guy came after 1 hour to pull out order but he just took robot and left and didn’t got anything, even tho it was their fault hesitated to return money and gave me just credit to app for exactly same amount after 1 hour waiting and no food after 11pm 😡 ### 1/5 — Failed delivery *2023-10-24* Would be good if you get your order. Still waiting on a refund for an order that never arrived. Looks like the Coco got stuck part way to my location. The app and texts the. Said a Coco representative would bring the order. Never received the order but I got a message from Coco saying the order was delivered even though no one delivered anything. The only way to contact them is by text. Will wait another day or so then dispute the charge with my credit card company. ### 1/5 — Not user friendly. No search bar? *2023-07-30* Trying to search for a store I know that uses this service, but doesn’t pop up. Also no search bar? Not very user friendly. ### 1/5 — Buggy *2023-07-17* Placed an order at 9:40pm and the restaurant closed at 10pm. 40 minutes after placing my order they cancelled it stating the restaurant was closed. I could have just walked to the restaurant in that time if I knew the app was going to mess up the order. Not many restaurants to choose from, delivery times way longer than DoorDash etc. Customer support is responsive, and it’s a neat idea but that’s a very bad user experience! If you can’t fulfil an order cancel it asap. ### 1/5 — Not available in my area, but they take your data *2023-06-30* Coco company is very sneaky. They go out of their way to avoid letting you know exactly where they have service. This after you enter your private data, including your cell number, then they tell you the service is not available. But they’ve already captured your data. I would avoid until this company is more transparent where they have service (not found on their website), otherwise they will capture your data before disclosing lack of available service. ### 1/5 — Now we any cocos *2023-05-26* I’ve tried to use the app many times yet there’s nothing open or available despite seeing them constantly drive by. ### 1/5 — This is a worthless application to me *2023-03-23* I just downloaded this worthless application on to my iPad. I signed in and absolutely NO RESTAURANTS HAVE A COCO Rebot anywhere near them! That definitely defeats the purpose of this stupid application! Our service is currently live in the Santa Monica and Sawtelle neighborhoods of Los Angeles exclusively. But don't fret - we'll be expanding to more neighborhoods and cities soon! ### 2/5 — App issues *2023-12-02* Just downloaded the app to place my first order and it was so frustrating to use. Lag time between my input and the app’s response was very bad. Ex: would press add to cart and would take awhile for app to register or app wouldn’t register it at all. The app also kept closing me so had to keep reopening to place my order. Thinking that people who order food are not affected by inflation and gets a pay raise every checkout. You dont need to worry about humans tampering with your food for whatever the reason is. cute robot well packaged order. The best! I wish there were more choices available for restaurants though.
