## What is Codal?

Codal keeps implementation choices close at hand. Capture a fix, classify it by language and tag, and move it from Inbox to Reuse, Ship, or Hold.

Everything is stored on the device. Codal is built for solo developers who want a lightweight record of why a solution worked, not a cloud workspace.

Use decision templates for bug fixes, refactors, build settings, API choices, and review notes. Review high-risk or blocked decisions in the Review Queue, copy code snippets or decision summaries, and export a Markdown decision log for handoff.
