## What is Code Kingdom?

In "Code Kingdom" children go on adventures with fun characters that help them develop a strong interest for programming and will allow them to become a Junior Programmer. In these adventures, children can experience the concepts of spatial imagination and logical operations, as well as algorithmic thinking skills. Our belief is that “to grow, one must keep moving forward”. For children, this concept should apply to their real life.

Playing is learning. Code Kingdom has the following characteristics to help 6 to 11 year-old children learn programming:
- A captivating treasure hunt story. New levels unlock according to how much you’ve learned.
- Challenging fun scenarios. Children can use programming knowledge to solve puzzles.

Смотрел в AppStore в поисках всякого, наткнулся на эту замечательную детскую игру, но с удивительно низкой оценкой, причём одной. Отрицательный отзыв был написан год назад, в нём было написано об отсутствии английского языка, хотя разработчиками он был указан в наличии, а в самой игре его не найти. Что же, подумал я, возьму да проверю, где же там английский и так ли это. Да и в крайнем случае, если там действительно ничего не понятно из-за кишащих там, о ужас, иероглифов, можно было бы узнать в век Интернета банально Гугл-переводчике, как же выглядит "язык" на китайском, что я заранее и сделал. Каково было моё уливление, когда я, скачав эту игру, увидел, что в левом верхнем углу был кружочек с китайским флагом, на который я и нажал сразу же, узнав в нём кнопку смены языка. И, ВНЕЗАПНО, игра стала пестреть священными буквами латинского алфавита, надписи стали на английском языке, а кружочек, в свою очередь, сменился флагом США. Не понадобились ни знание китайского языка, ни знание китайского иероглифа, означающего "язык", ни какой либо ещё специальной подготовки. Возможно, год назад было не так. Но поступить логично человеку, написавшему отрицательный отзыв НЕ плохой игре, стоило хотя бы попытаться, чего он не сделал, заслуга его. Но и возможно и так, что кружочек там был, а кое-кто просто не соизволил посмотреть по сторонам. Это неважно, но отрицательная оценка для игры, того не заслуживающей, это неадекватно и крайне глупо.
Но, что же, не только за функцию смены языка ставить этой игре оценку (хотя уже с этим перекрыть имеющуюся было бы благородно). Поиграв в неё и пройдя 9 уровней, я понял, что для детей 5-7 лет это - самое то. На сих начальных уровнях игры учит простейшим линейным алгоритмам и логике, дальше - возможно чему-то всё-таки более продвинутому. Но уже этого достаточно, чтобы оценить эту игру. Даже если ваш ребёнок не знает английский, тут всё понятно интуитивно. За время использования этого приложения я не встретил багов, всё хорошо. Так что я с чистой совестью могу постаыить этой игре 5 и пойти дальше. Будьте рассудительны и не будете обманутыми.
